I love this tribe, I think that maybe sum of you would either identify or be interested in joining me...

My story:

I have not taken very many bellydance classes at all actually. I continue to learn and express my self in the dance by observation. I did take one workshop with Rachel a little over a year ago (while I was living in Tempe) at the Domba studio.
She continues to inspire my life and the journey I am taking as a dancer.

I have gotten so much *bad-ju ju* from people inside and out of the Bellydance community. Most say I'm just some "Drag Queen" shak'n my booty on a stage, those individuals seem to not appreciate/understand my talent or expression as a dancer. I have a male body, and for now, am completely comfortable residing as such, but, I do dance very "feminine" and dress "female" when I do perform. I live the rest of my days as "whatever" and I am simply or lack thereof, *Skylar.*

I would appreciate it if you would take a minute and check out a tribe I created literally yesterday morning, and tell me your insite, criticism, etc...

I yearn so much to be a part of this Community and I encircle most of my life around it. I need not say more for fear of being redundant.
