This is what the Fall 2007 collection should have been.... I really like the Spring 2008 collection for the most part, and it seems like an extension of the Fall collection, except it wasn't phoned in like the Fall collection was. I'm not a huge fan of yellow, pink, and violet, but I definitely prefer the electric, vibrant hues used for Spring over the cringeworthy pastel shades that were used for Fall. Electric blue will always work for me, though.
I agree with the style rundown on the collection in that no one can take a hot mess, throw it on a model with some clown makeup, and somehow it just works and looks really cool. And completely different from what everyone else is doing. Although the juxtapositions and proportions have been done by Kawakubo before, they still seem fresh for her and they still work. At least for me.
