As far as I know, there are no tests. Time and a super healthy life style seem to be the the most helpful from what we have gleaned.

Some people have had results from Omega 3s EPA and DHA (fish oil)

Not all Omega 3's will provide you with DHA and EPA. This is because these essential fatty acids are not present in a lot of Omega 3 products. For example, ground flax seed is an excellent oil for certain uses and contains Omega 3's but does not actually contain any EPA or DHA at all. Instead it contains ALA which your body has to convert to EPA and DHA.

u may want to get an mri of your brain some have shown plaques after antidepressant use however no one will say it is because of the drug it may give them something to work with depending on results.

I had one and refused the treatment offerred which was more drugs that time I looked up the drugs and said nope not going to happen,

Some say fish oil and I took it for about 2years before I quit effexor and for 17 months after cold turkey did you cold turkey? I started it before I quit effexor because I had the symptoms you are having now and the mri was done because those symptoms are indicative of ms. that is why I had the mri. The health food store owner told me fish oil was a good treatment for ms. so I took it berore a few months before I quit effexor.

I am 18 months post cold turkey and can see and drive my memory is much better the effects of effexor have devastated my life but I am healing hope you are doing better.
