I love Shoo Shoo. Like the article said, she was a dancer's dancer. I was very inspired by her in the 80's although it took me years to discover her name. Somewhere I have a video of her. I think she's doing zar in it too. She's fabulous.

-22 hours of dance and music classes with Egyptian and Egyptian style master teachers and musicians (14 hours of this instruction to Live Music!)
-Lectures on Egyptian Folklore, Zar and oriental dance history
-Live Music dance party every night (bring your costume but leave your CD’s at home) All participants can sign up to dance with the orchestra. No extra cost.
-Performances by the instructors as well as a zar and tanoura
-A people’s choice dancer from the nightly parties will be asked to perform again on the last night
-Transport to and from Sharm el Sheik or Cairo to Dahab, Egypt
-Dahab style camp with private beach (AC, television, private bathroom, phone, double occupancy)
-Breakfast, Light Lunch and Dinner (Including one night Beduin Dinner Party). Alcoholic beverages available but not included
-All classes and evening parties held in a Beduin tent on the beach
