As I am sure most of you the melaya leff dance isnt really a dance done by alexandrian women with their modesty garmets but instead a stage tabaleux and i was wondering does anyone know who created it? was it Mhmoud Reda??

Tue, May 5, 2009 - 6:13 PMYes, it was Mahmoud Reda. Shira asked him about it a good bit in interviews she did with him. Was that for Zaghareet magazine? I think so.
Anyway- it WAS based on "typical characters" in two different regions as there are two different styles: both Alexandrian and Cairo styles.
