I have heard it quite a bit, as a good friend is in loooove with this album. Funny though, I haven't paid close attention to the details, as it's quite a sonic miasma, and I've only reacted to it as a whole 'til now.

I'll make a point of giving it a critical listen now that you bring it to my attention though.

One way I've tracked down things like reverb and other effects is to go to the webpage for the studio and/or mastering engineer and check out their equipment list. Often the answer will kinda pop right out at you. Surprising how well that works. Sorta like plugging one little snippet of lyrics into Google to find the title of an unknown song. It's almost magic.
