Mon, April 21, 2008 - 1:11 PMLooking at the site, I'd say the price is pretty damn reasonable as well. $399 is not a whole lot to spend on a software this powerful. Going back to look for a demo version 'cause I have to try it out. -

Re: Melodyne Does it Again
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 2:43 PMtotally reasonable. Although, I have to say that this falls into the very , very powerful plugin category so
4 bills is a bit steep for a program that isn't even a DAW
Do I have it? errrrrrr. no! -

Re: Melodyne Does it Again
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 3:04 PMTried the demo. It's pretty frikkin' cool, guys. I didn't get the polyphony feature that is it's selling point to work (effing demos), but it's got a great stretch capability and is definitely fun to play with. Even stretching a complex chord can be done smoothly. Hmmm, I might have to put it on the "to buy" list. Damn you, Brian for letting me know about it...lol!! -

Mon, April 21, 2008 - 3:06 PMOh, and Rick, though I would not call it a DAW, it isn't far off (at least the DAW that Reason is seeing as how you just import all your samples and go). It's more of an arrangement and editing tool. If only I could get that polyphony tool to work out I'd be hooked.
