Lots of people dance with fire, but have you ever danced with one of the other elements? Fire isn't always the most appropriate thing to do indoors.

What about wind, water, earth... what else is there?

And just how do you dance with the different elements? When you burn with fire, you're constrained by the heat of the flame, the amount of fuel you have... when you dance with the ocean, your fuel is flowing in and out. You have to move with a different rhythm, use different moves, brace yourself for the impact...

Dancing with different elements will teach you new moves, will give you a new grip (literally), will improve your rhythm and technique. So get out there and start practicing.

And we're not just talking about dancing in the water, you can dance in a fountain, throw flutes on the end of your staff or poi, spin on a cliff or a tower, dance with the sun, the moon, the stars, the jungle... there are many elemental forces in this world;
