I asked the amazing Kimiko if she had suggestions for organizing projects, as she does for organizing the stash, and yes indeed she did.

Re: Project organizing
Tue, May 26, 2009 - 8:14 AMThanks SO much Maggie and Kimiko.
I need this so badly, as I just moved into a sewing "room", instead of my sewing wall and I have a ton of stuff to sort through and organize.

Re: Project organizing
Tue, May 26, 2009 - 3:12 PMI suspect it's something that will always get ahead of us. I spent this whole long weekend pulling things out of corners as well as trunks, logging and measuring and refolding and finding homes for, and I'm still not quite done. -

Re: Project organizing
Tue, May 26, 2009 - 3:38 PMI agree, I don't ever think we are ever "done" with organizing fabric and sewing stashes. I know it took me a few weeks to get my stash under control, and that was just the fabric.
Or room layouts. My layout of how I work is not working with the boxes I have in my way. I need to get in there and put those boxes in storage, instead of right behind my sewing chair.
