Come support our Belly Dance Baby Fundraiser and take this exciting workshop by Raven!

Looking for a new dynamic way to keep your audience on the edge of their seats? Bring your message to the masses with this creative take on storytelling. Join Raven of TABU as she demonstrates how you can use music, movement, and emotion to tell a story. Whether you are an Egyptian Cabaret dancer, a Tribal Fusion dancer, or somewhere in between this workshop can help you explore your creative side and intrigue your audience. A short conversation about story construction, character creation, props, costumes, music, and understanding your audience will begin our journey. We will incorporate our stories into combinations and a short choreography.

This is a 2 1/2 hour workshop. It will start at 10:00am. on Saturday April 18th and will end at 12:30pm.
All proceeds will go to the “Belly dance baby” fundraiser for Faizeh. Dress comfortable! Only 15 spots available! Donation for the workshop is $35.00 USD. Workshop will be held at Blue Scarab Dance studio in Lancaster California. www.bluescarab.org

I have wanted to go to this for the last few years but I was always too busy!!! So I saw on Richard's blog that he was focusing on it and decided to check if tickets were already on sale!

We are going!!!! I'm so excited!

One of my resolutions for this year was to make more fun costumes and go to more "dress up" events!

Is anyone else going to attend? What will your costume be??? I'm thinking of either doing an Oona (from Legend the little fairy) type costume, of course, I'm brown Oona, or something more like tattered Edwardian.

Elizabeth can dance circles around Martha Stewart - NO LIE!
I can't think of anything domestic/creative she doesn't do.
besides all the spinning and weaving etc.
she can also make a pattern - which is like magic in my eyes
design cool, affordable costumes
create fantasy pieces
bake stuff from scratch
throw a party with a moment's notice
and tons of other stuff, too.
anything involving a needle and thread
or even knitting needles.
you name it, she does it!!!!
