Hail there, All,
As most of you now know,
I have decided to introduce
the cafe/teahouse that I have
been running at medieval fairs
into this wonder-filled arena
of eletronica/psytrance that
I have recently rejoined
after being distant
for ten years.
The teahouse/kasbah has popularly
been known as "The Elysian Dream"
which means, the dream of paradise.
In past fairs it has manifested as a
Viking "FriendShip" and, at times,
it takes the form of a Lighthouse.
Here is a fairly complete list of
the items and supplies that I have
assembled in Portland for the Psy-cicle
Winter Soulstice event. It is near guaranteed
that there will be snow on the ground, so...
hot beverages and other delights for
our creature comforts will be
very nice to have aplenty.
I also listed below the items that I have in Eugene,
with the rest of my pile o' booty. I may be able
to manage a trip there before the event.
In the case that I am unable to, I also listed
the missing items should anyone be interested
in donating to the dream, bartering, or contributing...
for the benefit of All who choose paradise.
---====={========--------------------- *
Supplies currently in Portaland:
Custom incenses
4 Turkish Coffee Ibriks
16 cup stove top percolator
50? cup electric percolator
8 shot stove top espresso maker
8 cup glass tea "ball" steeper
single cup tea steeper
wide assortment of bagged teas
green & black loose teas
5 canisters instant chai base (11 servings each)
2 oz of supplimentary chai spice
3 tea ball steepers
1 lid resting tea strainer
5 lbs white sugar
1 1/2 lbs brown sugar
assorted spices for food
5 insulated pump pots for liquid
1 cooler (won't be critical in the cold weather LOL)
1 4' square portable table
1 2' circular " "
1 8' X 10' cabin tent
1 6' X 8' cabin tent
1/2 gallon lamp/tiki fuel
Please note that I don't hassle with food service
but there's a very good possibilty that Open Heart cafe
will be collaborating for this event. I talked with Jared today
and we will converse again tomorrow night at the Cathedral.
---====={========--------------------- *
Requests:
[Please bring your own insulated mugs
as I do not have enough for everyone and
such items will prove invaluable in the climate.]
To-go cups
Tapestries*
Hookah/shisha
Stove/fuel preferably propane*
Liquor/Hard Alcohol**
Shelter Pavilion/Canopy
*: see items in Eugene below
**: Alcohol would be nice for
keeping us warm and jolly.
I don't recommend bringing
lot's of beer as it will make for
more trips to the bushes/biffies,
which seems like it would be
more of a bother for ladies.
With a fifth of Everclear
I can make a gallon of Mokahlua
(aka Merlin's Magnificent Mocha Magic.)
It is a nice chocolate coffee liquor which
brings us up almost as much
as it mellows us out.
With BarronJaeger (honey liqueur), I can make "Elysian Bliss,"
which has a similar effect as Mokahlua,
but uses chai instead of coffee.
---====={========--------------------- *
Items currently in Eugene:
20 tiki torches
4 exotic tapestries
Abundant candles/
candlesticks and holders
2-2 burner kerosene camp stoves
Items we can never have enough of:
honey
chocolate
coffee/tea
candles/torches
charcoal disks for incense/shisha
pillows/blankets
whipped cream
condoms
sugar & spice
and everything nice ;)-
Please respond here
or by personal message
if you plan to bring any of
these suggested supplies.
(As it just may save me a trip
down to Eugene (Adiantum.)
Investing in paradise is
a good thing indeed.

Re: DreamHouse Talk
Sat, January 20, 2007 - 5:45 AMI also make the teahouse favorites
available to folks who love
outside of events.
Let me know if you would like
a special delight to take with you
for sharing with your families/circles
when you travel the winds and seas.
I especialy enjoy providing my gifts
for those of us who chose to travel
for diplomatic purposes in service to
the greater circle of "that which WE are."
I was planning on making a gallon of Mokahlua
to raise funds for the upcoming event,
place your order if you'd like ;)-
Cheers & blessings,
yours truly in service,

Specialty Beverages
Sat, January 20, 2007 - 5:46 AMI was considering introducing another
specialty drink in the DreamHouse
(probably for Burning Man.)
I would really appreciate suggestions
for the ingredients--anyone who has read
the series, "HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy--"
yep, you guessed it, the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster!
(If D. Adams protests, then I'll serve him one sure to satisfly!)
Then WE can speak about royalties when he re-enters.
Soul, the assistance would be greatly appreciated ;)-
Yours, very truly,
in service to the dream,

Re: I would LOVE to help
Sun, January 21, 2007 - 4:53 AMO.o that sounds great, lass.
I am looking forward to the many adventures
that lay ahead of US (Universal Souls.)
I've been waiting for the right people
who have all the right stuff--
the best of the best,
shall I venture to say...
each of us play our parts
in the larger orchestar-tion
that works through US All.
I learned a while ago that
I cannot do all the things
that I am interested in...
everything is a tall order.
Soul, finding others
that stand on this
common ground
has been my
intention* ];}-
Ai, chai is a big part
of the Elysian Dream.
I've wished to introduce
baklava and other delights,
in due time...incremental growth,
of paradise, and of the XcellularNation.
To get to what's real... *
Bright blessings, lass,
to You, and to yours,
X
Prime Ambassador ShiXlan
of the Elysian Fleet of FriendShips
p.s. Its awesome for me to fathom
the limitless possibilities of the fleet--
the Elysian Dream is but one of many.
WE have discussed the possibilities
of the other ships more frequently
as of late...the kitchen, the bar,
the casino, the stage...
far too vast for one ship.
Now we're talkin',-=}-
Thanks for your input--
Cheers,

MythiCall Tour Projection
Mon, January 22, 2007 - 3:18 AMAdvisory for Krew Personnel:
Concerning the Elysian Dream
Hail there, All,
To appraise you of "plans within dreams" ;}
The ship should be rollin' in
to YouGene mid-afternoon.
Will be meeting Krew there
and focus on setting up
the DreamHouse first,
when it is well along,
can help for the event.
The resource list is mostly
the same as before, however,
I need to look into obtaining
another table or two and
a canopy for to hang
the sign from.
The word is that there is not
enough room indoors to set-up,
so it will be an outdoor teahouse,
probably connected to the new bus.
I figure it will be convenient to be in
the general area of the smokers.
Anticipating hot chocolate, chai,
and coffee being the main items.
I am bringing the espresso maker
and the turkish coffee Ibrik's also.
The interest that I have received
lately gladdens my heart and gives me
tremendous hope for the dream of paradise.
I give thanks for You...
again and again and again,
I love and in light, Yours, very truly,
BaccKus
Prime Ambassador Shizlan
of the Elysian Fleet of FriendShips
p.s. Anyone wish to dream up,
and form another ship? The limits are:
the extent of your imagination...share with US.
WE greatly encourage, support, and welcome You.

Re: Other RealationShips
Mon, January 22, 2007 - 3:22 AMOh yeah, I have been meaning to address this topic:
One crucial thing I did not make clear
for the PsyCicle was that WE need
space to accommodate facets
of other ships functions when
they are condensed into one.
Normally, the kitchen/restaurant
is an entirely separate ship. Therefore,
when there is only one fleet ship present,
at an event, then WE need to ensure that
we have enough tables and space to
expand all the dimensions.
Interaction and collaboration
is greatly encouraged, and WE
need to make sure that the
crucial components to
make everything work
together arr present.
Basically, it comes down to this:
PLEASE do, bring the components
you need to present your dream;
bring what you need to make,
"self-sufficient," the gig that
you have to offer the collective,
(unless arranged ahead of time)
and when WE are together, WE see
how what we have gathered mingles,
and keep track of who's stuff is who's
(as well as is realistically possible.)
WE may not have it all together,
but together, WE have it all ;)
I/WE give thanks,
and You arr welcome,
BaccKus

Third Eye Prophesy and onward...
Sat, February 24, 2007 - 4:24 AMHail there, All,
It wasn't clear if I/WE would be able to
move the teahouse back up to Portland
for the relocation of this show, but,
earlier today, a solid plan solidified.
As it looks now, we do not have cheeses
or breads lined up for snacks, but,
we did pick up a mountain of
food box rations today
at the Catholic Community
Services office. We recieved
a good amount of items that
would work for finger-food.
I also, personally, made a
great score of half-price
discontinued black-tea
at the New Frontier Market.
Goddess, I love Eugene :)
For this event, we will have representatives
from two of the ships, and training
the perspective captain for
a new kitchen FriendShip
to be based out of Eugene.
Currently, we don't have a
large quantity of coffees,
and I am not sure of
the chai situation,
so I am going to
be bringing what
I need to make chai...
out of nothing at all ;)-
I have all my basic equipment
including my two tables
coming with me in Luna--
I'm bringing up another
scaled down version
of the lighthouse
manifestation
of the Elysian Dream--
if you want the Viking Ship,
we'll have to rendevous at
one of the rennaissance faires
that we have coming up this summer.
On that note, here is an exerpt from
a recent conversation concerning a
near future course projection for
the Elysian Dream/Fleet in Springtime:

That is a big question--
Next show after this one, I do believe
will be Babylon Meltdown on March 10th,
then, after that will be the Mojave desert
TimeShift, over the weekend of March 17th,
but I am not certain whether
or not I can make that one...
question is of income
between then & now.
After that is the kickoff for the EarthLight
Project in Portland on the 24th of March.
It is projected to be huge beyond belief
and the time to get in the line-up is now.
This one is in association with City Repair,
as Earth Light is undoubtedly the most
ambitious adventure to come out
of their organization yet...
after that is...well, lets
leave it at that for now.
I do hope that you know about
the contact festival around
the time of Summer Soulstice ;}
That's all for now, onward!
to the next adventures...
Cheers & Blessings,
