LOST AND FOUND THREAD

Let me start off the lost and found thread:



I lost my special new hoop that Hoopcharmer made for me. Looked all over for it but didnt see it.

It is brand new with thinnish red and black taping, 3/4" 100 PSI tubing. If you know someone who might have picked it up...PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

    I lost my video camera!!! It's a small blue HD thing with a lot of random videos on it... including an interview with my great-grandmother, me hooping at Elysium, and some other ridiculous videos that I'll refrain from describing. PLEASE, we wants it back!

    A friend could not locate her brand new staff. It is gold anodized aluminum, black grip and 4 inch wicks.
    It was last seen at the main stage.
    If someone picked it up please let me know.

      My buddy lost his Superman Cape. He was the guy in the sponge bob party hat. He really would like to recover that cape. If you have any info please contact me.

        I lost my sunglasses...they are black and have rhinestone channel symbols on either side and yes they are real!!! probably lost in campsite 6 on Friday when I was working...

        And Jackie seriously you don't think that I picked up after you got the coat and believe the nipple platter is with Matty. Oh also have your cow knife thingy and table cloth.

    Also lost....one cyber dread thingy....long black & gold coils and some gold lanyard pieces attached to a string to tie around buns in hair- had two attached to my head when I was dancing and woke up with only one. Its twin is lonely, if you found it please give me a shout!

    I lost:

    - a metal water bottle, silver with a tree graphic on it
    - a metal "headscratcher" (copper wire spider thingie with a handle)
    - "Coppertone Sport" sunscreen lotion, almost full, SPF 30
    - "Neutrogena" sunscreen spray, almost full, SPF 45
    - possibly my work badge (plain white magnet card in clear plastic clip-on holder, with a label with my last name on it)

    ...proving again that if it isn't stapled to me, I *will* lose it...

    Any hints about the whereabouts of any of these items would be greatly appreciated!

        I lost a plastic bag with some really random stuff in it. Such as an american flag baseball cap, camo flip flops, a broken black umbrella, etc...

        What I really care about in that bag is a wire wrapped quartz crystal, a hand made glass pin, and a hand made flower pin.

    The video camera was found!! Without it's memory card though... there are things on there I really want, including an interview with my great-grandmother... please, please, please, if you found or have it, at least send me the videos, keep the card...

    Shoghi and I also lost a beige toiletries bag that has his glasses in it and a bunch of Sharps brand facial care stuff.

    If the hoop you lost had black, red and silver taping, and you left it near unifire's marked off area/tools, it was there when I left on Sunday at 3PM. I don't know if that helps...

    I lost my backpack!!!
    I'm pretty sure it got stolen. I took it to the main stage on Friday evening around 11 pm and put it down next to the mushrooms. 5 min later it was gone :(
    In the unlikely case that it shows up: it's red/black/gray/white had my Nikon camera :( a sweater, a case for glasses and lipstick. I guess that was the last time that I left my stuff unattended. Sad.

      Aw come on. You can ask my little thuglife neighbor. He'll tell you that theft is cool and there are no victims involved.

      Oh, forgot to mention that someone left a tent in our area and I was last to leave so i took it. We were camped right across the greeter bridge ( on the stage side) just to the left. We were right across the river from EON ranch. Since I knew most of the people with me, I believe it was with the group of people that had a guy that made his own hookah tobacco. I believe they were camping with this beautiful young lady:

            Supposedly it was an extra tent brought for someone that may have needed it but turned out they didnt and people forgot who responsible for packing it.

            Don't ask me how I know this as I was not even involved in it all, I guess I am just a good listener.

              yeah, the tent was in its bag the entire event, right next to our picnic table. I suppose, when they packed, they simply forgot about it. Soooooo....yeah, I have their tent. it is safe and sound. they can contact me whenever and we'll figure out how to get it back to them.

                OH. I thought it was set up : ). Easier to forget a bag.

                It's true tents are left on the playa every year. The four leading stories why each year are....Participant was solo or had bad friends and got medivaced, Misunderstanding amongst campmates over who was responsible, sudden overwhelming need to evacuate nasty hard to camp on playa results in panicy tear stained retreat to Reno and just plain bad upbringing resulting in idea that someone else will clean up "my disposable camp."
