HOOP ALERT PART II: SILVER/BLACK/RED hoop accidentally swapped

Ok, not that I am back from traveling, I have checked the red black and silver hoop that someone left at Elysium...since a couple people thought it was my missing hoop, as it turns out....it is not.

The striping is different and the tubing is of a different weight.

So, if you went to Elysium and own a SILVER BLACK and RED hoop....**PLEASE* check it....if it all of a sudden looks a little different and feels a little lighter...you probably have my hoop, and I have yours.

Please forward this to anyone who went and owns a similar hoop.

It is brand new with thinnish red and black taping, 3/4" 100 PSI tubing. If you know someone who might have picked it up...PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I was pretty far gone but was taken by the Music Between 1 and 4am . Does anyone know who was DJ those hours.. I could not stop Laughing. Did anyone see that crazy skinny red head with spiked hair. This chick had some moves and dazzled me with her hand flow lights. This girl was doing lyrical moves with her hands that I could only compare to Bruce Lee kicking the crap out of someone. This completely did it for me and was inspired. It would be cool to find out who that was.

I've been to a decom before in Portland but this was my first real event and all my expectations were met culminated by the very intense religious experience I had friday night stuck to the floor of my tent shitting myself laughing at the music and chanting over and over"HOLY SHIT JESUS CHRIST MUTHER FUCKER PLEASE STOP. " I could not stand but could not stop my body from doing the most intense lyrical movements I've ever experienced on a mind journey. Totally inspired. I did not care for most of the repetitive music between 1am and the first band on sunday. San diego tea company kept me alive with their yummy mocha lattes ...THANX GUYS!

A Mind Trip

For me, this event was the ultimate roller coaster of emotions that I have experience. At prior events, I had the right to use to self-medicate the mind trip. Now, I have lost that right. No drugs and No alcohol. There is no negotiations with my malady. My life was render unmanageable by the bottle. And that is why I was not there in 2008, the year of the horror. And therefore, I must work steps of life to prevent the subject event from happening again.

This event had a sexual energy that was too much for to deal with. My autistic mind was overwhelmed by the roller coaster of emotions that went on there. The beautiful people had an energy that I could not cope with and that started the roller-coasters. The ups and downs of the event started. From depression to utter serenity to loneliness were all felt there,

In the past, I would take a bottle of vodka and drink myself until pass out to deal with the emotional roller caster. Not now, I just had to endure the emotional roller coaster and knew that Sunday was nirvana, No alcohol and so the utter pain started, but eventually ended when I left Elysium today.

Things like losing your keys and than going to utter panic and than finding your keys minute later was not helpful. In addition, I got frustrated because I could not locate a place to plug in my phone so I get pictures. Just more fuel to the fire for that emotional rollercoaster that I was on.

They say that Elysium is a mind trip. People drop stuff to go on the mind trip here. Me? I took the mind trip, but this time was cold sober. and the trip was rough. Rough for person in recovery with seven months. Sexual energy that was unbearable at times. But some how, I was determined to remain clean. And I remained clean for the event. And then I drove in Mission Viejo today, the suburban ghetto was refreshing and beautiful. Serenity returned and my experience at Elysium was shared with other alcoholics.

I guess that I had a bad trip. Oh well, there is next year. And my advice, is do not go to the event if you have less than a year clean from the addiction. Cuz it is mind trip. And people that are trying to learn to cope with life without substances will face the rollercoaster of emotions that is called Elysium. And some people that I know in the rooms will go out on the mind trip. Only the strong survive this mind trip and remain clean.

This account is Crisco's account for trying Elysium without substances and only seven months clean. The purpose of the post is to illustrate how this event affected me and what it is like to do it with being so young in soberity and also having a spectrum disorder. My goal is to get a year clean through BM community and demonstrate to the community that it can be done. That you do not have to leave the community if you think that you have addiction. And that it is okay to get help and get involved with a 12-step program. And that you can do it openly and do it without fear

You think that you have to leave the community because all of the drugs and alcohol in the scene. In reality, I have discovered the opposite to be true. That the community is one of more supportive communities out there/ That your relationships will get infinitely better and that you can really make that emotional connection to people in the community without substances. And that you can really show the true burner love, compassion, and tolerance that we strive as a community to achieve.

As much as I love these weekend parties.... I think secretly I love indulging in my coworkers' (blank yet unquestionably staring) stares -- as the monday morning's disheveled why oh why ... and what oh what ... and ___ oh ____ ---- your voice went where Jackie? sets in. Well it wasn't lost at my grandma's picnic -- that's for sure.

But I don't know --- it got me to thinking yesterday. For the past few years I've been explaining these weekends to my family and coworkers (I was about to say normal friends, but I don't think there are any left at this point) as "a party" ... or maybe "camping" ... sometimes I go big and call it a "festival."

For all the pictures and single word descriptions, my ability to summarize fails me again. The best I can come up with is Tasty Medicine --- so good for you and so good tasting --- that feeling you get...that whatever it is we're doing --- we're doing it right.

Thanks everyone ... for feeding my crazy with your wonderful : ) see you all again soon ...

Walking from the Burbs to the main stage ...

So I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to camp in my car this year, now that we have to park so far away ...

Can you walk directly from the Burbs to the main stage area? Or do you have to walk down to the street, up the street, then enter area 7? The map on the La Jolla Reservation page is not terribly helpful. If you can walk directly, how does the walk to the main stage compare to, say, the walk from the greeter's station, or from where Phat Elvis was last year?

It will be a moment to set your intentions for the weekend, to build the energy and vibe of ourselves as a group as well as a moment to enjoy the talents of our friends. The crew of Unifer (& Foxie) will be the movement of the performance. David and Lesa (of Renfey) will be the voice and the soundscape. You will also be led in some powerful energy building chant so we can all be the performance we came to enjoy. You will get out of it what you put in to it, as in life. Expect to sit in a circle around the tree, if the Earth scares you then bring a blankie. Also, maybe some water to drink and a good attitude Buster. And... pssst, don't tell everyone. I can't imagine having 800+ people seated around the tree creating a vocal bass wave through the forest (hard to imagine 400 people). If you want to see Yona a bit nervous about getting his voice over that many people than you know what to do.

Then Sunday morning i'll be playing a scheduled 8:30-10:00am morning time DJ set, but who knows when we will really start. You can expect lovely ladies in aprons and panties serving up breakfast from the stage. If you want to help, bring your apron, drop your pants and
bring some foodies. That means you Rabbit. Right before me you can here the psychedelic sound of morning time Pod and after me the sultry Danyavaad.

Wine solution for Winos

There has been a quesiton on how to bring wine into the event....most are in glass bottles...

here are your options:

-Boxed wine comes in several types of boxes that aren't "disgusting." Henry's sells a great one that is actually organic.

-Bev Mo carries wine in several types of containers that aren't glass (ceramic, plastic and bags also not gross.)

-Last but not least......There are plastic decanteurs you can get at bev mo, target and walmart that actually re-seal with an air pump if the insist on bringing their own fav wine.

Eon Outpost BBQ @ Elysium...

Eon Outpost will be located in the same location as last year (and the year before), we will be having a BBQ on Saturday starting at noon and going until everyone is full, or we run out of food. We are planning to feed a couple hundred people at least.

Elysium Midsummer Festival 2009 Update

Our Friends and Family,

The summer has been slowly creeping up on us and before we know we are only three weeks away from Elysium Midsummer Festival ’09 (with summer solstice falling on the same weekend of June 19-21st). This year we are back to La Jolla Indian Reservation again ( http://www.lajollaindians.com/Campground/) - it proved to be such a magical spot for all of us!

If you have not joined our family yet we would love to see you there, really… dancing your soul out to some amazingly talented DJs (like Oscure, Braden, Yona, Pod, and Cervntes just to name a few), or getting your senses aroused by interactive performance of Unifier in collaboration with various stunningly talented musicians, chanters, and performers (bring blankets and water- this one is going to be FUN!), or getting your groove on to the rhythms and jazzy twists of Helios Jive at the acoustic stage…. or enjoying yourself watching Matias Mahia painting UV activated tapestry that comes to life in front of your very eyes, or just taking a morning yoga class in the shade of Healysium Lounge! Prepare to be enveloped by the abandon of creativity, music (both electronic and live) and performance artists that push the limits of your imagination and expand our community experience!

Where: Base Mechanic Shop, 30th Place, 92102 (30th and G place)

This Saturday, June 6th, starting at 12:00pm come hang out with us at Base Mechanic Shop (formerly known as Liquid-O compound) drink some cervesas, enjoy some good tunes, and eat some hearty BBQ, all whilst creating your very own mushroom toadstool! (All materials will be provided, although if you feel so inspired as to bring your own flare we would love to see your creation! )
We are also looking for donations of various stuffing materials, for example: old pillows, soft fabric scraps or foam. If you have any of these just cluttering space in your crafts area or your garage this is yet one more way you can recycle your old stuff into something new and useful!

A Little Something about them rulezzzz……

We would like to take this opportunity to kindly ask you not to bring any glass containers on the premises of the event, it is strictly forbidden by the rules of the La Jolla Indians’ Tribe land that we are using for our celebration. We would like to continue in the spirit of respectful collaboration with the tribe, so we ask you to honor this rule.

(Violator’s bottles will be removed from site (along with the owner if necessary), so please spread the word and make sure all your friends know about our NO GLASS policy!)

Gate Operation:

Gates Open at NOON (12:00pm) on Friday, June 19th for general admission. Please arrive on or after that time- we would be pained to watch you sit at the entrance for hours!

Camping Info:

There will be NO CAR PARKING/CAR CAMPING in The Village (area 7 where Main stage, Bazzar, Acoustic stage, Healysium, Art Creation station, and Mushroom Café are located) with the exceptions of a few staff and performers’ vehicles that were pre-arranged with Matty Lust ("Matthew Lust" metienturkish@hotmail.com )

Car Camping/Car Parking will be permitted in The Burbs (Area 6). All vehicles will be parked in this area, but worry NOT- Security will be provided for both The Village and The Burbs.

Bazaar Vending:

There will be 15-20 various local artists sharing their creations with our community at Elysium this year. So be prepared and bring some extra cash should something crafty catch your eye. However, if that dollar in your wallet is crying for company and there are some dust balls in your wallet, some artists in the community have been known to trade in some cases for goods, services, and labor.

Babes in arms??

Hi all,

I posted this on another thread but have not gotten any response so here I go again...I know this is a 21+ event but what is the policy on babies? I have a 4 week old son (so he will be 3 1/2 months when the event happens) and want to know if I can bring him. Elysium is one of my husbands and I's favorite events but being new parents we have to plan for events that will welcome the little guy. If he is allowed is it necessary to purchase a ticket for him? (everyone had to have a ticket at the SoCal Decom but Dark Skies is allowing him in for free)

Once again the The Art Creation Station will be at Elysium helping people be creative and funking up their bodies, faces, costumes and minds. So the station is putting out a call for useful supplies, paint and brushes, costume accessories and cool art projects and people to participate and share their creativity.

Also if anyone knows of or has a sewing machine sitting around not being used, i would love to adopt it for the Art creation station so it can be used at Elysium and other creative events, thanks.

Artist Bazaar at Elysium 2009

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know there will be a bazaar for the first time at Elysium this year. We're looking for special and one-of-a-kind, handmade items to support artists within our community. We are not accepting vendor applications for mass-produced items or healing services (massage, acupuncture, spinal adjustments, healing etc). If you have a healing service you would like to provide at no charge, please contact the event organizers through the Elysium website to participate in Healysium.

Elysium is going to be held at the La Jolla Indian Reservation again, in north San Diego county. The dates are June 19 - 21. You can read more about the event at http://www.elysiumfestival.org .

This is a juried bazaar, meaning that all vendors are specially selected to keep standards and variety at their best (and to eliminate mass produced items). Interested parties should email me with a short blurb about their products, their general pricing structure and some photos.

I would however like to illustrate that we do have a limited amount of free entry volunteers spaces, but they range in greeting, parking coordination and stage setup and TAKE DOWN (hard stress on the take down.)

Please PM me with your areas of expertise and once I have a certain level a response I'll start choosing the postions and will let everyone know when they're filed.

However if you already have your ticket and just want to come help out for fun, we'll be signing you saints up anytime from now till the end of the event.

Elysium Mushroom Toadstool making party! This SATURDAY!

This Saturday May 2nd we will be holding a mushroom build party at the old compound located at 722 30th place,SD,CA, 92102. Now the Bassmechanic Workshop.
Begining at 12 noon and going till we've had enough. There will be tunes, BBQ, Beers and Materials for building the shroom stools. If you have spools, staple guns and fabric great, bring em, but what we dont have is the stuffing/padding for the shrooms so please bring a cushion or padding.

These creative mushrooms are for around the main stage and common areas of Elysium, but you are encouraged to keep your shroom after Elysium. This is a very casual entertaining and supportive event to create community comradery and shoot the shit about our upcoming event.

A fun, creative afternoon with your buddies and new friends.

Car parking, drop-offs, and shuttles - Oh My!

Can you give us some idea on how car parking, drop-offs, and the shuttles will work. This could impact how much people can bring if they have to shlepp their stuff to their camp site. Just thinking it will help with both camp planning, and traffic at the gate.

This is a NO GLASS event! Please bring all your supplies in plastic, metal or wood containers. La Jolla Indian reservation PROHIBITS any glass on premises.
This year we are providing camping in area 6 as well as in area 7. Yes, that’s right, in lieu of so many vehicles at the event last year and our desire to create an organic spacious environment no car parking will be allowed in Camping area 7 with the exception of service, staff, and performers vehicles. Parking for those vehicles must be prearranged with Dr. Lust PRIOR to the event. Car-camping and car parking will be available in Camping Area 6 with no restrictions.
We are adding a lot more art installations and community space in area 7 this year so we ask you to please comply with this new policy. Shuttle for taking your camping gear will be provided.

Prayer Flags

Hello Everyone and thank you so much for making this Fuente so memorable.

Many of you noticed the prayer flags hung around the chill lounge and have asked me about that project. I would love to open that project up to the entire community. Please read on for information about creating your own flag to add to the project so that it may be hung at the next gathering. Although it was initially a "Goddess" project, I invited our men to contribute as well. Also, I was unable to get any good pictures of them hanging at the event. PRAYER FLAG PROJECT
I had the idea a few months ago as something we could all create together that would travel to all of our community events. It is our gift to the community and an endless project of sorts in that it can always be added to. The idea is sort of a cross between two traditions. The first is the legacy quilt: a project in which memebers of the community would each create a patch for a quilt, telling an individual story or displaying a unique pattern. All of these patches would then be sewn together to create one large quilt telling the combined story of all of its parts, a history of the women of the community. The other tradition is that of the Tibetan prayer flag, with which I am sure most of you are familiar. Prayer flags are colorful panels or rectangular cloths often found strung along mountain ridges and peaks high in the Himalayas to bless the surrounding countryside or for other purposes.

Traditionally, prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. The flags do not carry prayers to 'gods,' a common misconception, rather the Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be blown by the wind to spread the good will and compassion into all pervading space. Therefore, prayer flags are thought to bring benefit to all.

By hanging flags in high places the "Wind Horse" will carry the blessings depicted on the flags to all beings. As wind passes over the surface of the flags which are sensitive to the slightest movement of the wind, the air is purified and sanctified by the Mantras.

The prayers of a flag become a permanent part of the universe as the images fade from exposure to the elements. Just as life moves on and is replaced by new life, Tibetans renew their hopes for the world by continually mounting new flags alongside the old. This act symbolizes a welcoming of life changes and an acknowledgment that all beings are part of a greater ongoing cycle.

The plan of this project is that each of us will create a unique flag/ panel, measuring 13" wide x 16" long. This panel can be created out of new fabric or old, it can be sewn on, painted on, bedazzled, quilted, or decorated in any fashion you choose. The color and design are entirely up to you, but the hope remains that each panel will in some way carry blessings, invocations, or prayers for our community and the world. This can take the form of words or images, abstract or realistic. The flags will be sewn to a rope so they might be displayed as traditional prayer flags. I know everyone is so busy, but even if you just take an hour to put something together while watching a movie one night, that would be great, and the sooner these can be completed the better so we have plenty of time to get the whole thing put together. If you need any help with supplies let me know and I'll arrange for you to get whatever you need. My only request is that you try to avoid hot glue as it is very difficult to sew through when the flags are attached to the rope that hangs them. Also, be mindful of the MOOP thatyour flag could create if glitter etc., is not securely affixed.

Shoot me an email and we can arrange the flags being passed on. I'd like to get the next batch together in time for Elysium.

Thank you so much for doing this. I think it is a great way to add another level of intention to the events we attend and I know most of you agree. It is a beautiful sight to see all of our flags billowing in the wind.

The Shark Attack Incident.

So...Merry and I needed a tent for the event. We asked a month ago if anyone would be kind enough to help us out. Jakiepoo mentioned the shark tent in the tent thread, here's a refresher: http://www.target.com/Shark-Tent/dp/B000HTLU9Y We had our tent figgured out so we didn't need it but he bought it anyway because he kinda fell in love with the damn thing.

So we got to Elysium Friday and set up the tents. Jake decided he wanted to sleep in the shark with his lovely Mynx. It was just cute as all hell seeing the two of them in that teeny tent. Fast forward to Saturday afternoon: Jake seemed kinda drunk but not too bad. He hung out by the stagnant pond talking to his pal for a long time drinking Sangria. We'd spoken earlier in the day about how easy it is to monitor your intake with Sangria. I think he did it wrong because come dusk, he was obviously soused and had lost some motor skills. So much so that he tried to stake Jenn's tent down with his body. Unfortunately, the ground was plenty rocky and judging from what I saw when I looked over, Jake's arms had forgotten to protect him on the way down. He laid there for a moment, face down on the ground, before getting up on hands and knees, looking back at me as if in a fog and then crawled the 4-5 feet to the shark. I asked if he was ok but he said nothing. I figured he had it under control. He deposited himself in the gaping maw and we thought all was fine.

Without getting into the gritty of the nitty, Merry and I got toasty and went off to enjoy the night's festivities. Phoenix was awesome, the cuddle pool sapped us of the energy to move and the Unifier show was off the hook. I know something else happened in the middle but I apologize, I was um distracted. I've grown somewhat bored with fire over the years and this show dazzled me! Well done, bravo and even though I have a thing for dolls, the drummer boy was over the top. Couldn't believe it. Mind is blown. Go to camp to regroup.

Merry and Jenn were behind me with the light and I was finding my way down the little hill to our campsite. On my left was the shark and then the light hit the tent. I bent over laughing and couldn't stop for about 7 minutes. I tried to point but couldn't communicate through the laughter. About two minutes after, they noticed what I'd seen.

The damn shark had eaten our friend and looked all fucked with its tongue lolling out. You could only see the body pillow and the damn air mattress had taco'd around him. We laughed together, took pictures, laughed some more and then it occurred to us that it would be wise to check on Jake to make sure he was ok. He was scratched up a bit and we pulled him outta the damn shark's mouth to give him clothes and get a ranger/medic. THANK YOU Sasquatch and MedicPerson! He was ok after all. I've since checked with BLM and apparently landshark attacks are not common in the La Jolla area. Imagine that. I know its not the best thing ever to laugh at another's misfortune but holy shit, that shark attack made me laugh so hard I nearly lost Blue's marbles. Thanks Jake for some amazing performance art.

I've spent many years on the outside of the circles I ran. On the outside of the sphere I thought I was a part of. Together, but alone.

Now, I am not in some "inner circle" of this group, but I do feel like part of the family.

My husband doesn't get this side of me, but he knows if exists. A great friend must have recognized somethng in me to bring me into this side, either that or he made a great vessel for introducing me to a place where I feel free and can just be.

I'm still afraid of new people, but I'm not afraid to wander around all of you. Sitting, listening, being around, giving and getting hugs and being welcomed, even though you may have only seen me once or twice ever. With you, I am home. A place where I can let my hair down, a place where my beliefs in the energy of life isn't "poo pooh'd", a place where names don't label us negatively; they allows us to be who and what we want to be.

Does this mean I let my guard down? Yes, why yes I do. And I love every minute of it.

...Having decided to try swimming the river, my feet were searching for toeholds in the rocks under the swirling eddies when the current suddenly knocked me off my precarious footing and swept me into the froth.

Tumbled over boulders and ridges, flailing and coughing and plunging downstream, I managed to grab onto a projecting boulder. From there I pulled myself to a barely reachable overhanging branch, which slowly, hand over hand, I managed to negotiate to shallower, kinder waters where my legs could hold me up. Emerging from the river, bruised and bleeding, aching and shaking, I was ecstatic. What bully fun it was to be swept downriver like that! :) Nothing like a little danger to really make your day. And I have you wonderful folks to thank for that opportunity, as well as the rest of an entirely delightful weekend. But enough about me....;)

On behalf of the Phoenix Projekt, our heartfelt thanks are extended to you for such a wonderful event! The planning, organizing, professionalism, hard work and joy you all put into it was nothing short of exemplary. The location was lovely and the experience was utterly delightful. Having spent the last ten years in serious "work" mode, it was the first time in four years that an experience like this has felt like a real vacation. Reconnecting with old friends...making new ones...enjoying a weekend with the San Diego tribes and their uniquely warm vibes...finally seeing Unifier in all their astounding glory, and discovering that the rumors of their easygoing and friendly natures are all too true!....The entire weekend was a giant 'Reset' button, and it was an honor to work and play with everyone there.

Thank you once again, Rabbit, Phil, Brutus,Taz, Katya, T-Rex, and everyone else who made this happen. On behalf of myself and my crew, we look forward to seeing what you come up with for Elysium 2009!

Merry and I has an absolutely great time at Elysium. I blam eeach and every one of you for that. :) It was fun trying to meet everyone there and I did pick up about 40-50 new names so that in itself was fun. New friendships are always sweet.

I have to mention again that I'm just floored by the amount of sexy bottoms running around at Elysium, men and women alike. Hotties! Great talent in dancing, hooping, flagging, fire and smiling all-a-yous.

Shamaya's wedding was blissful, wonderful and I feel lucky to have been witness to it. Thank you both for sharing your family with your family (if you catch my drift).

I know that few people made it into our camp but I think the best performance art of the weekend - no offense to the amazing performers who worked hard on their...performances - was Jake's Sangria Shark Attack. We'll post our pictures later. Special thanks to Jake and Jenn for rides to the airport and stuff. Thanks to Katya for the tent, it was no big deal :) Thanks to the Heathens for breakfast, that was nice. Thanks to Merry for coming and being a good sport about the debacle on the flight back home.

Thanks everyone for making a fantastically fun weekend happen. It was just awesome getting to introduce Merry to you and to the vibe of the area. I truely hope to see some or all of you in the Northwest sometime. You have friends up north that like, love, care for you and want to dance, laugh and smile more often with you. Holy crap, I'm tired.

but I found my soul. I can only say that a few events in my life have had an impact such as Elysium 2008 and the one I can remember is my first Burningman. Last weekend was one of the best things that ever happened to me and I can't get it out of my head. I am once again transformed and found a part of me that I though I had lost.

I once more realize how important these events are for all of us. I also understand how hard it is to make an event so successful. This event was in my top three and I am so inspired.

Thanks to all that were involved. A phenomenal job and execution, great line-up and fire shows with beautiful vibe and location. You guys really set a beautiful intention and brought it to absolute perfection.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you...

Dancing and laughing...

I can't say enough what this weekend has meant to me. It has opened up a whole new life and vision. I love all the connections I made. Some new and some renewed, all so important. Everyone has a little something different to offer and I feel so blessed and lucky to have all of you enter my life. After this weekend I feel like a whole new new me....recharged and dancing forward.

The drive home and even today I can't stop feeling the love and happiness that this magical experience has given me. Thank you again all so much who touched my life. And for those that didn't I look forward to it soon. :) I may have lost my voice but I found something in me that I am so excited to share.

Thank you to all that put their heart and souls into this event. I only got a taste of what it takes and thank you thank you thank you for giving this to all of us.

Psytrance? Elysium? Maybe NOT at 5am?

I would like to hear people's thoughts about it.
Last year it didn't go over very well. Hand full of people were dancing and many people were TRYING to sleep.
Psytrance remains to be a part of our community and I would like to see it represented at the Elysium. I am not so much for represenation of this genre at 5am. Maybe a one hour set in the afternoon? I think it will give more people chance to actually listen to it and maybe enjoy it (food for thought here!), rather then curse the gods and people that have created it!
There are many in our community that love this genre and we would like to see it happen.
I would love to hear your thoughts. Both haters and lover welcome.

A magical Tasting Adventure...

~Greetings Elysium!~

We are hosting a Special Tasting Table of foods and drink during the Elysium event. We will be providing samples of Bitter and Sour foods that will be magically transformed for your pallets with a little help from a special agent. If you know or suspect what "agent" we're talking about, please keep it a secret, but by all means invite your friends to come find us and experience it for yourself!! This won't be enough food to feed anyone a meal, this is a pure "tasting" adventure.

We aim to have a large supply of Lemon's, Lime's and Strawberries that last the entire tasting. To accomplish this, and offset the cost of the magical tasting agent, we're seeking donations of appropriate foods and beverages for the tasting. If you find us at elysium and donate a small amount of any of the following before Saturday at Noon we'll make sure you know when the tasting is going to begin. Otherwise the best we can do is serve up what we have, and so it will be!

Here's a list of appropriate foods and drinks to gift. Please don't donate in bulk, we're just asking for small donations to fortify what we're already bringing. Fruit would be the best thing. And please no money, we won't take it. Any leftover fruit (there won't be leftover beer!), will be donated to the bar on site when our tasting is over.

Bitter or Stout Beers like Guiness, Ales, Murphys, etc. (NO LITE BEER!)

We will have a table set up for food donations with a sign where the tasting will take place when it does sometime Saturday evening, and we're Camp Miscreants and have a table/cooler there too for stuff, just look for our Miscreant Flag or the crazy shenanigans of our Camp to get involved.
