The Parks Dept recycles Aluminum and tin cans.... the last few years we have collected bottles and I brought them back.... A sticky, icky mess..... Some of the Retreat Worker Beez and I are talking about people bringing home their own bottles & paper recyclables....We are going to bring some extra bags and maybe the empties can find a good place to be stored for the weekend.... What do you all think? Unfortunately at this time the park does not recycle paper or bottles and I hate to see that stuff get thrown away and it does not make sense to me to host a retreat where I make a Contribution to Wetland Benefits only to have us throw away perfectly good recycled goodies... ARe there any thoughts or ideas as to how this can work at the retreat? thanx!

Re: Recyclables
Sat, July 25, 2009 - 8:54 AMHey, I'm up for throwing my empties in my car and carting them back to Spokane. Personal responsibility is where it's at. I'll take one of my recycle bins from home w/me, line it w/ a garbage bag so nothing leaks in the cruiser and I'm good!
