Hello Friends in Dance and Music!

I am building the new online dance website Enchanted Hips Online for NM Belly Dancers, and other ethnic dancers.

My friend Carla Frey started the project in newsletter form, and I hope to carry on the project with the same positive spirit of community!!!

There will be listings for studios, dancers, teachers, troupes and events. I will also have a page where musicians can sell thier CDs and advertise themselves for hire at events.

Links to your websites on your listings will be included.

Individual listings are just $15 per month, and a whole studio subscription (ALL listings) is just $100 per year!

If you are interested in purchasing a listing or whole subscription, please email me by December 30th, 2007!

The site officially launches January of 2008!!

Show/Tech Changes!!!

Hello everyone!

Tech rehearsal for everyone (Including Gitanas), for my June 16th show has been rescheduled to 3:30-5:30pm June 16th at the Lobo theater. Please bring your labelled CD to tech for the sound person. Call is still at 6pm, and show starts at 7pm.

Carla-Could you please let Cynthia know, and also Lucille? Celine-Could you please let Delores and Rena know? THANKS!! I lost thier email addresses! I will try to find everyone on Tribe to notify them of the changes.

All vendors must be packed up and ready to go by 9pm.

Bob, can you please help hand out programs and take tickets?

JANUARY ISSUES PRINTED

Hi everyone! Just to let you know that the January issues are printed they are just "stuck in the snow". I have 3-4' drifts of snow at my house so I have to hike in about 1/2 mile in deep snow....My hands were full today so I will hike the newsletters out tomorrow and get them in the mail to you. CREATIVE WORKS SHOW RESCHEDULED

The Creative Works Show originally scheduled for Dec. 30 that had to be cancelled due to the snow has been rescheduled for January 20th (Saturday) at 3:30pm. A matinee in case of incliment weather. Good music?

Anyone heard or gotten any good new music recently? I recently bought the "Warrior Goddess" CD put out by Dolphina. It is pretty good I think. It has a new age westernized feel to it while still sounding like bellydance music. Some songs would be really good for stretching out and practicing slow moves in the studio while a couple songs would be good for performance. All of it is pretty enjoyable to listen to. What are you guys listening to these days?
