Move on....to the future sound of the Bay Area!

This event features two new arrivals from the North and South: Razvan and Tom Poston.

Encounter Studio in SF will be hosting this welcoming party and showcase of tek-beats.

Come and see what we've all been waiting for with great anticipation, and support the coming together of a unique group of Djs in the making.

Tom Poston
North Carolina: barbeque, basketball, NASCAR... minimal techno? One of these things is *definitely* not like the others! As part of Charlotte's Automatic Window Noise music collective, Tom Poston has explored the edges of minimization since 1999 with a regular residency, frequent Detroit excursions and imaginative collaborators,
making the sonic voyages ever more fruitful. Mixing minimal, tech house and the occasional bangin' track, he works to get the mind spinning and the body grooving. Translating from North Carolina to San Francisco in early 2007, get a preview of the future, now.

Razvan
Originally from Bucharest, Romania, Razvan grew up halfway between Detroit and Chicago in Grand Rapids, MI. Begining his DJ career playing Techno from such labels as Drumcode, Intec, Primate and Plus 8, Razvan picked up the Detroit style of quick mixing and heavy knob work. Continued Detroit exposure brought him into the Minimal sound popularised by Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos, where he puts to good use his knob work keeping the sound fresh and funky.

Come see the Bay Area's newest residents with locals Tony Sardella, James Bass and solekandi.
