Lebanon and the Gaza Strip are under attack, and under seige. This tribe is a place for people who want to do something to stop it.

Israeli jets, tanks and blockades have brought armed conflicts with militant groups to the entire Palestinian and Lebanese population. There are worldwide calls for an end to disproportionate military force and for a ceasefire, but the war goes on. For it to end, we will have to create a surge of pressure and creativity from below.

Last Tuesday, July 18, some 200 of us in San Francisco gathered to do just that. We know people are organizing and demonstrating around the world against this war. The voices and actions of people in the United States are especially important, as missiles, military aid dollars, and diplomatic support from our government continue to fuel the conflict.
