Structural / Kinetic / Pyro Engineer ---> Playmate + $

As a licensed architect and sculptor, I often find myself drawn to projects on the edge...
Sometimes, they have limited budgets...
Sometimes, they pay nicely... and hence I can do the others pro-bono...

I have engineers that I work with 'professionally', whom are quite good and even experimental, but their motivation is not simply to PLAY and HAVE FUN.

There are times when I need to hover large pointy things in the air over a crowd, kant out walls that taper below the 'safety factor'...

I am looking for structural / kinetic engineers, especially in the Pacific Northwest [or digitally savvy], that would like to play on projects where we would sometimes get paid, and sometimes not...

Look forward to collaborating with you!

Ciao,
Fredrick

I'm working with the San Francisco chapter on setting up their membership database. Being one of only a handful of computer engineers, the task has fallen to me.

We're doing the MySQL thang, based on a DB template borrowed from the national DB.

I'm good with using MySQL dbs. I'm even okay with setting them up. Where my kung fu is not so great is with configurizing a web server with the Apache/PHP/MySQL triad. I can read a HOW-TO as well as the next guy, but having someone who's done this (preferrably more than once) in my corner would be good when it comes time to deploy.

Post or PM me if you know what you're doing and can help.
