Was wondering if anyone has a cutting of these ayahuasca plants by any chance ? or know where I could get them?
I'm in massachusetts, and would really love to grow these plants myself so i could develop a relationship with them prior to consumptions =D
if anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it.

Re: B. Caapi, P. Viridis, or Salvia Divinorum Cuttings
Tue, January 8, 2008 - 10:21 AMIf you don't have a good touch with growing things, I would recommend that you give a pass to trying to raise these beauties. Both Banesteriopsis and Psychotria like it humid and warm, which a Boston summer might satisfy, but what about the rest of they year? Salvia is perhaps your best bet; it is most likely to accept the role of a potted plant that gets transfered inside and out. All three raise their little leaves in joy when you say "greenhouse."
Trying to make a connection with the plant is a laudable ideal (investing before ingesting!) but sometimes the practicalities only allow love from a distance. -

Re: B. Caapi, P. Viridis, or Salvia Divinorum Cuttings
Tue, January 8, 2008 - 11:04 AMI've found other ways to work with some spirits prior to ingesting them for a more personal interaction.
If you have a box of momentos, altar of sacred space, or any other kind of intimate environment, you
can leave your plant material there to vibe and interact with other trinkets of importance to you. If you
have a shaman's bag you keep things in try placing it in there until you feel a familiarity with it.
Also, as I've learned the voice of Salvia I have asked for its opinion on events through my day like I
would any other spirit or deity. Even if I don't get an answer I feel I have left a doorway open for a
connection in the future.
