Lighting is never synthetic (unless photoshopped) and there is always chance for the chaos theory to help bring the scene to further life. <div>Hi Tribe, <br/> <br/>I love environmental nude photography, and have been wanting to try shooting some myslef for a while. I have many years of experience working with models, and shooting nudes indoors, but never outdoors. I have to admit I'm a little paranoid... I don't want to get the model (or myself) in trouble. I've been asked for a permit and kicked out of places when shooting clothed models, so the last thing I want is to add public indecency or lewd conduct to that hassle! <br/> <br/>I've also had some trouble finding models who are willing to take the risks as well, even models who are completely comfortable with shooting nudes in general. <br/> <br/>So, my question for this tribe is: How do you find your locations? How do you secure them and ensure the model's safety? <div>Greetings Everyone! <br/>Here are two more images created earlier this Summer. Both were shot in Trinidad, California, along the beautiful Humboldt county coast in a little used cove that is very steep to climb down to (adjacent to those trees in Tree Dance). Stephanie is a trained ballerina and enthusiastic model. <br/> <br/>Silk: <br/>Titled such from the phrase "smooth as silk." As I gazed at this image -in the naming ritual I do- the contrast between her smooth, silky, skin and the rough palm tree bark she is laying on (not to mention the jagged rocks in the background) jumped out at me -thus the name. BTW, I "saw" this when creating the image -so the intent was there- but I always wait until the image is "finished" to confirm my success with the intent before I title the image. <br/> <br/>Tree Dance: <br/>I knew that I wanted to work with these trees as my background but wasn't sure how I would do that until I looked up from a likely rock platform. These beautiful trees seemed to be leaning over beaconing Stephanie.
