This gathering was (in my opinion) the best, smoothest gathering ever at Eon! Everyone contributed to make a really fun great weekend, the costumes were AWESOME!!! I can't wait to look thru all the pics!
The list of people to thank is way to long, like I said, it really seemed everyone helped to make this a great weekend in on way or another.
Thanks to the Eon residents, all of you really worked your asses off for this one!! The clubhouse looks awesome now!
The cleanup was unreal! The clubhouse was cleaner on Sunday then it was on Friday!! The "leave no trace" philosophy was in full swing, and to be honest, I've NEVER seen Eon cleaner after an event...I was bragging to the locals at the bar (Iron Door) last night how awesome it was it was, and ALL the feedback I got from my neighbors and the local community was all positive!
HallowEon was one of four large parties going on that night in Ocotillo Wells, all of the parties had major problems except ours! It was a success and another brownie point for the Burner community.
The police did show up in force at Eon around 2 in the morning after they received a call that there was gun fire from Eon, and that there was a girl with a head injury as a result of the gun fire, well this turned out to be a false report from my last remaining disgruntled neighbor as the police soon found out when they arrived, I will be following up with the Sheriffs department about the false report.
All in all, the Sheriff deputies were fine, and I don't blame them one bit for showing up in the way they did, considering the call that they got about the gunfire and injury...the person who made that false report should be held responsible for making such a serious false report....we'll see.
I met a ton of new faces as well! Everyone was just great! I hope to see you all at the next Eon event, take care :-)
