The evils which thwart Man were not from the Earthly domain but rather
from the spiritual worlds:-
Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against Principalities, against the Powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:11-12

Someone may know a Biblical reference.
I would answer, it is virtue- or the virtues practiced in harmony.
I once read a lecture describing Rembrandt's Man with Golden Helmet:

as being a picture of this. But now there is doubt as to whether Rembrandt painted that picture.
Dr. Steiner describes a sixfold and an eightfold path which also establishes an amour of protection. The Eightfold path is of course associated with the Buddha, but it is the basis of Parsifal as well; and therefore part of Grail Christianity.
