I read the science new every day, searching for the Machine, The New Creature and the coming cyborg intelligence. So many little breakthroughs coming in from all over the world - it will not be long before it is all put together into The Machine. I hate to say it, but 2012 is looking more ominous every day.
Creating a new consciousness from a similar physical plant connection is a little more vague but I know that is out there on the scientific horizon. Scientist are our new priestly class. Many work deligently and quietly behind the scenes to unlock the mysteries of reality. I believe that if we survive long enough, we will move through simple reductionism to a real, spiritual understanding through science and mathmatics.
