Thu, May 8, 2008 - 7:48 PMEtoile Arabesque does the first Tuesday of the month at Avant Garden and they are GREAT! I danced at their show last Tuesday, and these women R-O-C-K!
They are Lea, Jenna, and Athena, and they are super special fantabulous ladies.
What they can do with swords and zills and veils... wowie!!!
You should come to their show and check them out.

Thu, May 15, 2008 - 9:52 PMNari helped me out with an introduction. :) We're a team of dancers (Jenna, Athena and myself) who decided to put our creative forces together to make excellent performances and to challenge ourselves and the dance community to greater heights. We do a lot of cabaret but there is a strong folkloric influence in what we perform and we started our repertoire with a Meleya Leff. Right now we're thinking about choreographies to cane, karsilama, etc.
We would love to have you and Marcie perform with us sometime! -
