I had a really wonderful experience trading with a tribe etsy merhant this week. Summer Raven! of www.goddessadornments.etsy.com
Her jewelry is absolutely beautiful and I am so proud to now own a piece. I sent her some hand knit arm warmers I made from my own handspun merino yarn in exchange for the necklace she gave me. I don't know if she can trade more because she needs her inventory for a show she's doing or something, but since it was such a good experience, that I just want to encourage us to do trades in the etsy sellers tribe.
If you have anything you want to trade, you can post it here! Or requests....

Re: Etsy Trading Post for Merchants
Wed, February 27, 2008 - 7:31 PMI tend to be a bit finicky, because I don't really want a lot of "stuff," but I'm not adverse to the idea of trading in the right situation.
I did trade a complete Elemental set of four Magic Vial charms to a guy on Deviantart for a pair of chainmail bracers with neat little moonstone charms.

Fri, February 29, 2008 - 7:37 AMYah I know what you mean... I'm the same way. But I would at least like to see what's out there, because I'm sure I'll find something I like and a good exchange might be possible.
