Opening shop need not be all that scary. Start off with a few items and slowly build up as you gain confidence.

Just remember to take all your photos in natural bright light, using the (super)macro setting for close ups. Try to use all 5 picture slots by showing details.

For descriptions tell the reader all about the item (measurements in inches and cm's). Try to make descriptions a mix between factual information and a bit about background about each piece.

Remember to put a returns, shipping and sales policies somewhere in your shop and refer to where it is placed in each listing.

Keep banners simple,eye catching and relevant to what you sell.

If you are willing/able to ship worldwide work out the prices to do it and put them in your shipping list. Lots of people find it very off putting to find "Please convo me to find out the price of international shipping" and they will just pass on by and shop with someone that has those priced already listed.

Fill out your profile. People like to know who they are buying from.

As your inventory grows remember to use the sections so shoppers can get to what they want quickly.

Change your featured items regularly.
