Wild Divine invites you to the Eugene Polytheism Discussion Group

Thursday, January 31st at 7pm, at the Allann Bros. 5th St. Beanery. (And the last Thursday of every month.)

Explore the history, mythology, ritual, theology, philosophy and modern practice of Greek, Roman, Celtic, Egyptian, Norse/Germanic, Slavic/Baltic and other polytheistic religions.

All levels of knowledge and experience welcome. Come share a drink with us, along with some great conversation.

More information about Eranos* Agriotheios (Wild Divine):

We are practicing Hellenic polytheists and plan to hold open rituals soon with like-minded others in the Eugene area. Our practice is a combination of historical tradition and modern innovation. We believe in tangible acts of worship, and direct contact with the gods. We are especially dedicated to Dionysos, Hermes, Apollon and the Nymphs. Other activities: festivals, rituals, libations, divination, trips to the library/bookstore, Greek-themed movies, etc..

*Eranos is an ancient Greek word meaning 1) a meal to which each contributes his share; 2) a kindness, favor; 3) a society of subscribers to a common fund, a club. It is a word used by some modern Hellenic pagans to describe a group of people all in one location who worship certain gods together.
