It's a *very* fusion piece to "God's Away on Business" by Tom Waits. Performed at a local show at the end of March.

ha ha... I actually do... it's from about 2.5 weeks ago... It's up on Youtube... but my mom's camera for some reason when I upload the movie it goes way out of sync with the music... making me look like I'm speeding through my solo... lol

Hmmm, I don't have any up online yet. I'm not sure if I could do the Youtube thang, LOL.
There actually is one, but it's on private. My teacher's particular about what's out there on the Web (rightfully so) and we're doing her choreography for 1/2 of it. It's a GREAT piece but very dark and hard to see me anyway. I wanted to post that one on the "have you done any famous choreography."
Anyhoo, my troupe, Maha Dansari, does have some videos we've taken but haven't figured out how to get them online much less off the cameras yet. But I'm sure we'll post 'em soon.
So, does anyone else feel like me? That is, when I perform, afterwards I always focus on all the stuff that I feel I did wrong, that I know about and that I'm just sure the audience did too. Then I see the video and it's like "Damn girls! We rocked that!!" I was so jazzed seeing my my choreography this weekend. I was much more pleased watching it than doing it, LOL.

I just got back from the International Bellydance Conference of Canada, though, and I feel like I have learned SO much since then; it's amazing how much your dancing can improve over just 4 days.

I've got one up on my profile page from a show earlier this month with Naima. Its scary putting stuff out on youtube, but its also a good thing so that family and friends can see what I've been up to even though they live far away.

God, it has been so long since I performed, the olllld pictures of me performing in December are the ones of my "latest" performance! I think I have some in the tribe album...

Same thing with vids. I have one from a performance done over a year ago, and it was a bad performance I overconfidently didn't practice for. :-/ I'm not shy about posting vids and whatnot, though, so I'll post when I've got new goodies, which hopefully should be soon, 'cause I've got a couple of performances coming up!

I have one up on my profile right now that I put up about a week ago just for fun. It's totally a spur of the moment kind if thing, and not choreographed at all, hence the dropping of the hoop in a few places. I just wanted to try out my new hoop, so it's really nothing special. Anyway, I am not at all as versed as any of you, but I've been practicing like mad. :)

Alas, I do not have any decent video taking equipment, just my crappy digital camera with no sound. It skips occasionally as well. It's nice seeing other dancers posting their videos here, I may try and put a little something together anyway. Although I'm a bit nervous of putting videos of myself up on YouTube. :/
