I agree though....The Smurfs rocked. Filled my Saturday mornings with Smurfs, Snorkles, Wuzzles, Gummi Bears and a little Spider Man thrown in for good measure. Ahhhh, the good old days. Keep wishing they would come out on DVD. -

I can only assume that the 'baby' Smurfs were brought by the recurring Stork character they had on the show.

Tue, April 29, 2008 - 12:21 AMActually, it is very likely that the smurfs reproduced asexually however were bisexual, or more likely homosexual. If you remember, smurfette was not just the only female, but she didn't exist until the evil sorceress lady made her. So the entire colony of Smurfs existed for a long time without any female present.
I'm not sure what is sadder...the fact that I remember that...or the fact that I was able to analyze it and put them in a semi-anthropological context.
And yes...Falwell said that Tinky-Winky was gay...because his antenna was an upside-down triangle and his "accessory" was a red bag/purse. In his infinite wisdom...he also said 911 was caused by "the gays, pagans, abortionists, feminists (who just need a man around the house) and the ACLU" ....or as I call them...my peeps.

I used to collect the Smurf figures when they came out. I still have them and the mushroom houses that went with them. My daughter plays with them now. How cool is that?!?
