then I realized when I wore it I was going to get felt up. ha ha ha. It didn't happen.... but that's OK. I do it to other people, oh oh oh let me see how you did this, or what are these coins.... =)

Sat, May 3, 2008 - 7:59 AMI was in a dressing room a few years back and stuffing my bra with my silicone cutlets. A dancer I sort o knew said she didn't need to do that anymore because she'd had hers "done". I ended up feeling them to see how real they were.
They were, too. Were I a few years younger, and less fond of my sensitive bits, I'd consider a job, too.

Tue, April 29, 2008 - 5:21 AMI am a high school teacher....a mom of twin girlsI had in class was an aide at school for the disabled kids. She knew I danced and asked about it all the time. When she found out we were performing at a show she came and brought the teenage girls. Jessie was in awe of the tribal girls and followed them around the whole show taking pics....and finally got brave enough to tough their jewelery and hip scarfs...It was kind cute to watch :) -

I always ask before I touch but only JUST before I touch. Like I can six inches away from some dangling sparkly and go "Oh...um, do you mind if I touch it to see how you got it on there?" Fortunately most dancers are like "Sure! Touch away! And what's that thing you've got sewn onto your bra there...." -

One dancer that I did manage to keep my hands off of (barely) was Sharon Kihara. I wanted to touch her assuit in the worst kind of way. I LOVE assuit and that girl has some beautiful pieces. -

I have to touch it in the fabric store too...you know when you walk by the hanging velvet display? I HAVE to touch it, even when I have NO intention of every buying it... And it's only women or guys I actually know. I mean strange women are welcome to touch, but not strange men! lol.

I spent the better part of an hour yesterday feeling every bolt of fabric in the "sale" section at the store.
I talked to the lady who was cleaning it up most of the time, and she said that she loved her job because of all the different textures and things that she got to feel all day.
So yah... touching is a deff PLUS for me =)

Except he does it from hiding in one of the dining room table chairs and reaches out and snags my jingly/sparkly/dangly hip scarf as I traipse by. My husband calls him the "stealth kitty". I agree with you about feeling things on your cheek, if something is really nice to touch, I put it up to my face too!

Basically, as the artist was being instructed on placement, color, etc., I was just standing there in the public (my front was facing the back wall but in front of a mirror), mouth shut, while my boob was measured against the tat and generally being discussed like I wasn't there. Later, the artist decided a bandaid and privacy screen were needed. :O
