Harmony Festival (at the Santa Rosa fairgrounds) is one of my absolute favorites. We are performing again this year on the Goddess Stage, Sat at 6:15. Afterwards I'm going to run over to the main stage to catch Lila Downs!

Fri, May 30, 2008 - 8:12 AMHow could I forget? I'm also teaching Baby Signs in the Kids' Village 1-1:30 on both Sat and Sun (June 7 and 8).
I've been a Sign Language Interpreter for 10 years and have am certified by our national 'governing body', the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID.org). I've also worked specifically with children for the last 3 years. If you have a little one and think it might be fun to teach him/her to sign, come on by!
Teaching your baby to sign can almost eradicate the 'terrible twos' by giving them a way to communicate with you before their little voices are ready to work. Motor skills and the desire/need to communicate develop more quickly than vocal cords.

Sun, June 8, 2008 - 8:59 PMA great weekend all in all. Teaching Baby Signs was fun, dancing on the Goddess Stage was awesome, the vending was overwhelming AND I got to see Arrested Development who rock like nobody's business.
I also got to connect with old friends which made it all the more worthwhile. If anyone got pics, please send them this way! I have some which I will sift through and post.
I love Harmony Festival.
