a little background.....
jopa and myself are the co-founders of ezezine.com, the world's only non-blacklisted by the major isps, ezine hosting and management service.
i got involved in ezine publishing in 2001 when i was hired as ad manager for the now defunct ezineville.com which was host to nearly 2 million opted in subscribers across about 10 different ezines. with this position i was thrown into a world of e-publishing that was upcoming and hardcore. over time not only did i learn oodles about this industry, i also became a founding and formative member of this industry. in feb. 2003, thomas leonard, the owner of ezineville.com (and the grandfather of the personal and business coaching industries) passed away and i lost my job with the company. in those 2 years i learned about everything one possibly could about ezine publishing.
in the same year that thomas passed i met jopa, a web programmer and network administrator. serendipitously several of his web hosting clients were looking for a solution to their ezine hosting needs.
et viola! ezezine was born.
since that time we have become contenders within the ezine industry, but with a twist. while most ezine hosts focus on quantity, we focus on quality. we have geared our software towards the content publisher rather than the rmail marketers, and we've made quite a splash in the industry.
we're not trying to sell you anything. we just want to share our wisdom with like minded peeps. we have lots to share. i'm the author of "start your ezine: the fluff-free guide for the new publisher", available at startyourezine.com which has sold many copies. i'm also a consultant for ezine publishers. for the last several years we have kept our biz and personal lives very separate and recently realized that this is silly, we should share our wisdom with our tribe. that's you!
so here we are. please pick our brains and share your own experiences. we offer ours with love and in love.
thanks for reading, we're here to serve,
in peace and service,
lisa aka kalisama
