Well, there doesn't seem to be much activity. The idea of an ezine has been knockin' around my head for a while now, but since I've no practical experience I'm wanting to hear from those who've been knocked around a bit.

Re: Let me please...
Tue, May 8, 2007 - 8:30 AMthanks for stepping up, william!
i've been knocked and have knocked for years now.
my best 'get started' advice is:
~ get a subscription form up as soon as you can (i recommend ezezine.com - it's free, and beyond reliable and they'll host a page with your form on it if you don't have a site of your own yet)
~ pimp it! start promoting your ezine in your email sigs, tribe page, anywhere you can
~ do it! start publishing.
~ don't assume every one you meet wants to be on your list. make sure they double opt-in, don't just add them and give them the option to opt out. not only is the opt-out approach illegal in most countries, it's downright obnoxious.
hth. do you have specific questions? bring em on.

Re: Let me please...
Fri, May 11, 2007 - 2:40 PMWhat kind of ezine do you envision? What is the concept/topic/desired response/audience?
I retrofitted a blogger site for my visionary art ezine, Emerging Visions:
