I've been looking into getting a printer does anyone have any recommendations or insight?
So far I've been looking at the Canon Pixma Pro9000 and the Epson Stylus Photo R1800. I like the idea of the Espon allowing roll paper, so I was leaning toward that one a bit more than the Canon. Also are there any other brands to look at around this price range, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to getting a nice printer right now. :)

Re: Printers?
Sat, January 12, 2008 - 7:43 AMI've always been a fan of Epson printers so if it were me I'd go with the R1800... But make sure you get good paper too. Epson Professional Photo Luster is my favorite 'E-Surface' paper, and as others will attest to as well, Moab paper makes good stuff as well.
Also, if you don't already have one, get a monitor calibrator for your computer.
Cheers,
Jeremy
