Although ma and pa reactions to their dating daughters particularly when dating black and particularly given
racial stereotypes, Asian family member reactions are often predictable but not necessarily exclusive. One should understand that such attitudes can come into play however such has been the path and the progress of race in this country and particularly as the example ascribed to black males and Asian female relationships today and just as it was for blacks dating other races including whites in the past. Today even given some systemic prejudices remaining, people of all races are falling in love, getting married and raising children or just falling in love. My opinion? I think if you find love you'll
find love well worth fighting for and that act alone can serve to educate, heal and be an example for a thousand others who may be searching for love in the usual but wrong places.
