lessee:
(1) how their friends treat them.. I usually gravitate to the one that their friends all seem to look up to.
(2) what they've read/are reading... if it overlaps with my reading interests, bonus!!
(3) how travelled they are (moderation is the key here. some travels out of the country, but not constant. I really like that.)
(4) aspirations in life (people who don't know what they want to do with themselves, or people who aren't at least trying to find out what they want to do with themself tend to raise a warning flag with me)
(5) how they treat their immediately family (I melt when a big brother obviously loves his little sister, or has a real friendship with his family).
(6) lacks a negative outlook on life (people who hate themselves, or people who are depressed are NO FUN to be around at all. People who are always only pointing out hte problems in other people likewise are completely not interesting to be around. I'm not looking for a sucrose injection, but I really like a guy who doesn't JUDGE or begrudge other people in life around him.)
(7) finally, it's true. If you tell me you aren't into professional sports, I'm immediately more interested in knowing you.
