The spirit does seem to be gone, a little bit. The beach is still closed off, there are far fewer people/dogs, and there hasn't been much art lately. I have been finding myself taking the smaller trails through the middle of the Bulb, trying to get further away from stuff. Still discovering new-to-me things every time I go.... but a lot of the cool art is being graffiti'd over/tagged, and the most popular place seems to be the mini "skate park" at the Ampitheater.

It seems like a sort of wounded place these days.
