Thank you so much for all those who came to support ENERGY 1 and the beautiful Orion Cafe this April!
This May’s monthy event is a very special fundraiser at the Orion for one of Eugene’s favorite local artists and Visionaries: Mr. Jeigh Baldwin! Jeigh is a 10 year Veteran multigenre DJ and promoter from Santa Barbara who came to Eugene a couple of years ago with the purest of concepts, free outdoor parties. These events are totally underground and free, showcasing local artists for the community at no cost (To learn more, speak with Jeigh @ ENERGY 2!). Sadly, Jeigh will be leaving us at the end of the year so to thank him for all the wonderful and selfless work he has done in this scene we are raising money for WoM (Word of Mouth) this summer to provide you all with a free place to dance and celebrate out in the woods this summer. Admission as always is $5 @ the door for a full night of hard bangin’ sounds from the styles of:
9-10:30:Big Daddy Scamp-Breaks(Living Funk, EUG OR)
10:30-12:Sofa King Cool-Breaks(Flux Pro, EUG OR)
12-1:30:Weapon X-Drum&Bass(Flux Pro, EUG OR)
1:30-3:Jeigh Baldwin-Drum&Bass, Breaks(Just Us/ WoM, Santa Barbara CA, EUG OR)
3-4:30:Opium Sunset-Drum&Bass(Blue Spectrum, EUG OR)
4:30-6: TempesT-Psychedelic Breaks(WAO, EUG OR)
come dance and support in celebration of one of our dear friends and a dream he shared with us. Equipped with intellegent lighting, a psychedelic projector, black lights and a balcony dance floor above the DJ, the Orion is a truly blessed dance space so please come join us for a night of great music, good food, and beautiful souls! Doors will open @ 8:45. Bring you’re warm fuzzies, this is a NO ALCOHOL event.
