I spent the day at Rowena Pattee Kryder's with a few other people and my partner, who has become a major Rowena fan. This woman is amazing, comparable to a Leonardo da Vinci of the current age, and probably way too intelligent for many people. At one point during a slide show I got a little lost, but was gratified to stay with the conversations for the rest of the day. Her art work is probably enough for most, and speaks volumes of the subtle realms. Check out this video on youtube:

We did a shamanic drumming journey, and I had a nice journey which I shared with the group and was just recording in my journals, so I'll share it with you all also:
January 24, 2009 – drumming journey at Rowena's
I was ascending a mountain. I looked around and saw that I was in a mountain range of identical peaks that stretched across the horizon. A layer of cloud hung just above the peaks, then slowly descended, and the tops of the peaks stood in the clear air above the cloud. The tips of the mountain peaks were like sense organs, touching the cosmos and feeling everything. A large turquoise being with a deep blue aura appeared before me, slowly rotating in the air with arms outstretched. Above it was an enormous mandala lying horizontally in the air, which also rotated. Spikes of energy radiated from the mandala, striking the mountain peaks as it turned. The being pointed downward, and a black crusty place on the mountain broke open, emitting hot orange magma that floated upward in globs, sort of like balloons. I entered one of the globs, and made my way into its interior. There I was surrounded by thin black beings that danced in a circle around me. I lay down, and lightning flashed around, sending jolts of electricity through me. I seemed pierced with holes throughout my entire body. Wind rushed through the holes as if I were a sieve. I felt opened and in a state where nothing was withheld or resisted. Then the drum called us back, and one of my guides picked me up and returned me to the room.
