I am so impressed with this book as it has opened me to so much....THe teaching attune us to our ancestors and the ELder race that is Faery.... The dtruth is Faerie is not all pretty little frilly dressed flitters and flutterers... THere are many of the Earth... Infinite numbers I suspect.....THey appear when our hearts are truly pure like a childs eyes who have no pretention but to approach them with joyous magical adventure.... TO come to them without problems but with your heart.... TO not hide from them who you truly are inside....TO become one with there realm of being... and what is that? Its pure enchantment..... Contrary to what youd like to think they are... as pretty sublime beings... No they are of the Earth.. and the Under world of roots.... ancestoral roots...... as some may not want to approach them because of the misunderstanding that the underworld is a hell.... No it is the world where they dwell in the Earth.... THey mediate through the power of enchantment and magic to and from whither they wish to go to be ... THey prefer the Earth and the Land.. OH before I get off of the topic.. as I have.... Orion is a man who was born with second sight in Shenendoah Valley in Virginia.... He is a the founding Elder of the FOxwood Temple of the Old Religion...... He has another book the is titled THe Tree of ENchantment.... WHich is a hands on book to really unite you with the Faery worlds......I recently did a wonderful meditation in there.....and I hope to get more out of it..... I switched because I wanted to know more about THe Faery Teachings.....also written by him.... THis is the real deal folkes....It is a gentle book ....
As I might say that the faeries are wise, funny, loving, mischief making and even in their BADNESS they teach us wisdom..... TO me they are beautiful with flaw and pristeen charm..... BLessings

    I really hope to read his books someday...and I think that will come soon..because Orion has just agreed to teach an in-depth workshop Monday after the Fairy Congress. still working out the details. He was so great last year. Resurrecting himself after a near death experience after eating the sins of the Lower Ward in New Orleans. He's become a walking ecstatic. I am so looking forward to this!!!

      Hi,
      I didn't know that Orion had written a book or didn't remember he had.
      I just got chills at the thought of it. Orion is fabulous, earthly and heavenly.
      He connects deeply with the realm of the faeries. I recommend attending anything he offers.
      I am excited about his intensive after the Fairy Congress.....I am going to see what I can do to participate.

        Hello Julie.... IM happy to say that when I bought his book Tree of Enchantment the book conked me on the head in BOrders..... WHen it did I definitely responded!!!!!!!! The other thing that happened was when I bought the book and did alot of the exercises I noticed my passed on relatives morping into my artwork.... Ill explain I was doing a pic of my brother and it morphed into my Uncles Frank and Bruno from the past.... Soon I started to see my Grandmother and Grandfather.... Ive been a clairvoyant for almost 30 years...... but I shut it offf for many years.... Was afraid of its power.....I have a very curious wallpaer that inside of my room I can see my ancestors in the wallpaper as well.....I know this must sound really crazy.... But according to Orions book this checks out fine......I purposely bought the wallpaper to tap into creativity... Unbeknownst to me I tapped into the Spirit realms with it......If youd like I shall post the wallpaper so you can see that its a strange phenomenon..... I incorporate this wallpaper into my art as well......BLess you for being aware of otherrealms........ BLessings <Faunaserene

          Well.......thank you for your vulnerability and sharing.
          This last year I broke my ankle. I laid on the couch for quite a bit of time for about 4 months.
          I could see these old Douglas Fir trees from where I lay and within its branches I saw a polar bear.
          I am deeply indebted to that polar bear for guiding me during the time of healing.
          I have discovered since then that Douglas Fir bridges the connection between plants and animals.
          I think I will need to purchase Tree of Enchantment also.
          I am glad there is a space to share wild adventures with the fairy beings.

      OK, here's the description of the workshops that Orion will be giving this Congress. He will be offering 2 smaller workshops at 1 1/2 each and then a longer 4 hour workshop on Monday.

      for the 2 shorter workshops:

      Path to the Tree of Enchantment: the Paradigm of the Faery Seer

      Orion and his Faery wife have developed a system of work with Faery, Ancestral and deep planetary forces as well as beings of the stellar realms. They call this system “the Tree of Enchantment”, which is the subject and title of his new book. His first book, “The Faery Teachings” is the foundation for this next phase of his Faery Seership work. At each of his workshops at this year’s Congress, Orion will present information on each of the primary inner contacts of the Tree and will lead us in engaging and powerful visionary and magical processes to work with these forces which he calls the “Vision Keys” and their attending forces and states of consciousness.

      'The Faery Seership'

      The Faery Seership tradition is a collection of lore, customs, techniques and prohibitions, which originate in the Celtic and pre-Celtic tribes of Europe. It focuses on the living inner commonwealth of the sacred land and humanity's spiritual cousins in the other world. It is a philosophy, way of life and a paradigm through which we, as humans can re-enter alliance with the Earth, other living creatures, the plant/tree kingdom and other races of beings which share the Earth's surface and underworld life with us. This workshop will cover techniques of exchange and mediation with inner contacts and attending spirit beings associated with the Faery Seership and Tree of Enchantment, including a detailed and comprehensive 7-stage visionary process the forms the core of visionary work.
