Hola from Tejas,
Just looking at a map and wondering which is the best route from Seattle (Hwy 2 or Hwy 20) both from the distance & scenery perspectives.
Also - in the opposite direction - if there are any mystical magical places most recommended on the Olympic Peninsula that could be easily visited in an afternoon - also from Seattle.
.....Hyperion

I generally use route I-90 from Seattle to the Fairy Congress, it's a straight shot over the Cascades. you can do it in about 4 1/2 hours. Skalitude really is such a power center, and just zip on over and lay out on the ground! The North Cascades highway is amazing. stop and go for hikes. there are some amazing hot springs, get a 4WD and go up to Goldmeyer Hotsprings where the water comes out of a cave...and you swim into the mountain. Mt Rainier has of course an amazing. very yang. My Baker is the female. How long are you staying? and we have whales in the Puget Sound!
be well. dream well. frolick!
