At one point I found myself along side of a sex activist from Texas, a tantrika, and a daikini! Are these the kind of people who have sex with the stars? I’m amazed by all these straight boys with stars coming out of their eyes. They hug me and kiss me, and tell me that it’s good to finally meet my husband. And we take off our shirts and chop wood for the fire. Have I caught a glimpse of tribal life before we got divided into gay and straight?
I am grateful for my husband who went out digging roots of medicinal plants for the community apothecary, for showing up with dirty jokes and for the passing the pipe of smoldering nettles around the circle in the tea kitchen.
