At one point I found myself along side of a sex activist from Texas, a tantrika, and a daikini! Are these the kind of people who have sex with the stars? Is the wilderness coming to us in order for us to go to the wilderness? Nature is inviting us to come down into our bodies, all the way down. Swami, the sex activist says that our bodies are star ships, and we don’t know how to operate them yet. OK! Let’s go to the next frontier. We’re coming home! I’m amazed by all these straight boys with stars coming out of their eyes. They hug me and kiss me, and tell me that it’s good to finally meet my husband. And we take off our shirts and chop wood for the fire. Have I caught a glimpse of tribal life before we got divided into gay and straight?
I am grateful for my husband who went out digging roots of medicinal plants for the community apothecary, for showing up with dirty jokes and for the passing the pipe of smoldering nettles around the circle in the tea kitchen.

How has your Life Changed after Discovering the Faerie-Kind

In an earlier post, I shared that vivid encounter given to me last May with that Faery Being looking at me with compassion while she was resting in a section of my hair. A week after my encounter with this faery I had a waking experience where I heard a woman singing these words to me "you are helping the flower to seed; all things are precious"

I woke up completely from this and wrote it immediately in my journal. All that week after seeing that faery, I was more inspired than ever to pick up litter, and show more consideration for the little wildplants that I used to pull out of the yard and toss away-- I showed more respect for the little insects too- plucking them out of the swimming pool, for the Faery's sake. I transplanted little maple trees into pots to give away--- instead of throwing them in the garbage like before. I would caress the plants and trees- focusing love onto them as well. That week, I even had the opportunity to help turtles off of our road from getting hit by a car.

The night before I had heard this song sung to me--(which woke me up) I had been playing healing music on my CD player, out loud for the Faeries to hear and enjoy through the window. This is why I think one of the Fae's , Sylphs, or Sidhe Being sang me that verse.

I pondered it after I wrote it in my journal. It was an encouragment for me to keep on channeling God's Love to all the living things I took for granted before. Al Creation is precious and I hadnt realized it-- but seeing that Faery changed my life forever.

It made a difference even in my weeding the garden. I don't pull up buttercups and dandilions anymore. I don't kill ants. I don't use toxic pesticides . God had more things in mind to teach me when he lifted the Veil that May 31st, 2008 so I could know that the Fae are very Real indeed.

Beginning and near to 1995, there was and has been a gradual shift in spiritual awareness for many. Slowly, during this time the Humankind has been arriving at the breakfast table of life to feed from the smorgasbord of information that is being provided. This information comes from the cosmos and it comes from within the very core of the earth. The earthen information pipeline is filled with answers from the other dimensions of which there are twelve are in existence. Of the twelve there are the plants and animals, the dimension of Humankind, the dimension of transition (dimension of the dead for animals and Humankind to share), the dimension of Faery, the dimension of Myth, the dimension of Dragons, the dimension of the ET’s (5th-8th dependant on their level of spiritual consciousness) there are others on these three dimensions but I do not profess to know you or what they are. Other notable levels are the dimension of Angelics and the dimension of the Ascended Masters.

Through meditation and prayer the Humankind has been able to tap into much of the information that is being provided. We would like to see this information shared equally but as you are well aware there are many that would like to control this information and dole it to the masses for personal gain. This is a standard of doing business in your dimension because there are leaders and followers. The followers usually do not like to work hard so they are willing to pay with monetary means to get this information from the leaders. Unfortunately, many leaders over charge and use what they know to control or to gain power over little groups. The religious aspect of your society is a prime example of this feel for the need to control the masses. The star energy people are doing this right to you in many ways by saying if you want to know the secrets we will tell you if you pay us and do as we say. They say that there has to be an exchange of energy or that if you don’t pay, and then it doesn’t mean anything. No my friends of the Humankind, it is called control. We on in the Dimension of Faery advocate that the information is free and available to anyone who would look inside themselves.

As we approach the time of great change the other dimensions are weighted by the arrogance and thoughtlessness of the Humankind. We have stood in observation for hundreds of years following the Dark Ages all the while wishing the best for this species that was created from a rouge science. Greed, fear and arrogance were the gifts of this science and burdens for the Humankind to shed. Unfortunately this has not been achieved. There are those of the Humankind that talk of journey to the underworld where they find us, the Faery, and this is not correct. We have begun our journey of vibration long before the time of the great indiscretion of the Church. We travel at a much faster rate than you because our molecules move faster, how we could be behind you is beyond belief.

It is a sad for us to acknowledge that there may not be enough light in the entire Universe to awaken the whole of Humankind, this sleeping disfigurement of a life form. Rest assured that when the end comes for your dimension, and it will be soon, we will be here to assist you. However, we may not be able to help you if you do not begin your journey now. Of course, as a Soul created by the divine you will live on in some other place, but rest assured it will not be in an incarnated spirit on Mother Earth again. “Cognitive Science” especially Quantum Physics, the majority of the Humankind retains no idea as to what true science holds. Has anyone actually seen a fairy, or gnome in this group?

I once saw a gnome, in an old garden in Atlanta Ga. I have searched for years and years for people who actually believe in the Fae, and on the 'Net, I have found mostly stories from little kids and, every once in a while, an adult. I combed the paranormal sites and posted my own story. I am so excited to find this site and to find that many of the members are elders! At least looking at the slide show I think so.
So, hello I am Caro and I live in Savannah Georgia in a magick garden, which my husband and I created a few years back, out of a scrubby little sand lot, which did have some old camellia trees on it and a Nandina Hedge. We just held our first full moon celebration out there July 18th. Hello out there Fairy Friends!

I spent the day at Rowena Pattee Kryder's with a few other people and my partner, who has become a major Rowena fan. This woman is amazing, comparable to a Leonardo da Vinci of the current age, and probably way too intelligent for many people. At one point during a slide show I got a little lost, but was gratified to stay with the conversations for the rest of the day. We did a shamanic drumming journey, and I had a nice journey which I shared with the group and was just recording in my journals, so I'll share it with you all also:
January 24, 2009 – drumming journey at Rowena's
I was ascending a mountain. I looked around and saw that I was in a mountain range of identical peaks that stretched across the horizon. A layer of cloud hung just above the peaks, then slowly descended, and the tops of the peaks stood in the clear air above the cloud. The tips of the mountain peaks were like sense organs, touching the cosmos and feeling everything. A large turquoise being with a deep blue aura appeared before me, slowly rotating in the air with arms outstretched. Above it was an enormous mandala lying horizontally in the air, which also rotated. Spikes of energy radiated from the mandala, striking the mountain peaks as it turned. The being pointed downward, and a black crusty place on the mountain broke open, emitting hot orange magma that floated upward in globs, sort of like balloons. I entered one of the globs, and made my way into its interior. There I was surrounded by thin black beings that danced in a circle around me. I lay down, and lightning flashed around, sending jolts of electricity through me. I seemed pierced with holes throughout my entire body. Wind rushed through the holes as if I were a sieve. I felt opened and in a state where nothing was withheld or resisted. Then the drum called us back, and one of my guides picked me up and returned me to the room.

Forgive and Forget, a Lesson in Humility

Lemon and coconut pie were on the menu last night and surprisingly it was a quiet evening, with the exception of the beautiful hairstyle the Faeries "imparted" upon me. To my surprise, Peter has returned this morning to say hello and to tell me that he has forgiven me for the issues we had sometime back. This is a happy moment because I have been given a second chance and that is what matters to me. Born on what is the equivalent to November 26, of the year 14 AD and remains a proud a Sagittarian.

Ron, I have forgiven you our misunderstanding because of all the good things that you have done for us. We need to work together if the world is ever going to change to be the place it was meant to be. I will be back and forth with you and Cassandra and maybe even Christina if she can get the fire out of her eyes every time she sees you. Just joking, Ron, Christina comes back to check on you every so often already because she is not really angry with you anymore. We must leave for a short while but we will be back to help you write when you are ready, Peter.

A little history may help when it comes to understanding Christina. About two years ago, I happened to be in the kitchen washing the Faery treat plate with Christina nearby as my guide for the day. I had tried for some time and since the beginning of my friendship with the Faeries to get the Plimtens to leave Karen alone at night because they wanted to keep their presence a secret from her. I had explained that in order to keep a secret they must not continue playing with her hair because the joke was a one way street and going only in their direction. After many tries, I was tiring of the shenanigans and I let slip in thoughts only, “tell those little bugs to stop”. Well, thoughts were enough to have Christina’s anger come crashing down on me, thumping my forehead and then later in the day more abuse. Not that I did not deserve it, because I did. We buried the hatchet a couple of months later but as you see most of the male Faeries will not let me forget the incident.

Great Book to Start with is THE FAERY TEACHINGS BY ORION FOXWOOD

I am so impressed with this book as it has opened me to so much....THe teaching attune us to our ancestors and the ELder race that is Faery.... The dtruth is Faerie is not all pretty little frilly dressed flitters and flutterers... THere are many of the Earth... Infinite numbers I suspect.....THey appear when our hearts are truly pure like a childs eyes who have no pretention but to approach them with joyous magical adventure.... TO come to them without problems but with your heart.... TO not hide from them who you truly are inside....TO become one with there realm of being... and what is that? Its pure enchantment..... Contrary to what youd like to think they are... as pretty sublime beings... No they are of the Earth.. and the Under world of roots.... ancestoral roots...... as some may not want to approach them because of the misunderstanding that the underworld is a hell.... No it is the world where they dwell in the Earth.... THey mediate through the power of enchantment and magic to and from whither they wish to go to be ... THey prefer the Earth and the Land.. OH before I get off of the topic.. as I have.... Orion is a man who was born with second sight in Shenendoah Valley in Virginia.... He is a the founding Elder of the FOxwood Temple of the Old Religion...... He has another book the is titled THe Tree of ENchantment.... WHich is a hands on book to really unite you with the Faery worlds......I recently did a wonderful meditation in there.....and I hope to get more out of it..... I switched because I wanted to know more about THe Faery Teachings.....also written by him.... THis is the real deal folkes....It is a gentle book ....
As I might say that the faeries are wise, funny, loving, mischief making and even in their BADNESS they teach us wisdom..... TO me they are beautiful with flaw and pristeen charm..... BLessings

Hello beloved Earth keepers..... and faery loves

My name is Faunaserene... (Katherine) and I am a person who channels the faerie Faeryspeake ... I have for many years..... Ive recently met her prescence.... In the Dreamtime I was quite startled.....THis being is very much Fae.... and I do readings of fingertip scryings.... I have on Tribe for the last 4 years on Butterfly People Tribe.....I was referred to you by Eniad....And the honest to goodness truth is I see them daily..... THey morph inside my house through wallpaper and curtains..... I am serious... I am an artist and a Fae musician. who is quite amused by the fact that I cannot read notes and I cannot seem to learn theory but I have created wilth their help at least 700 songs.... I have them on Soundclick.com......I recently started to read on the Faery Tradition.....Books by Brian Froud.. orion Foxwood.....I am excited about the experiences I am having with them.....THey have protected me all my life... As a 25 month old baby I was in an accident... throuwn out of my mothers arms where traffic could have fatally killed me.....I took my first steps that day......before the accident.... During the flying episode of being thrown out of her arms I landed 10 feet mysteriously behind the car... MInd you I blocked alot of this out.... But my mother refreshed my memory....THat night of the accident when I was thrown I landed in the mud it was raining that evening I was in shock and I know that the fae were there to heal and help me....I was caught in the arms of Mother Earth.....My mom said that I flew through a broken window sustaining no injuries.....But I know that the Beloved Earth saved me rescued me from death..... I also know in the shock I remember that there was a well I fell into ......and I also was given a tickle jacket.....All of this is true... I find that more and more I am wearing a great heart on my green sleeve... THis is my personal guide which has been with me since my birth...... Other threads will explain.....Also I do fingertip scrying which is my own personal technique for connecting with the way of faery.....It all started along time ago when I had an epiphany and a brainstorm to run my fingers cross a page of divinatory meaning......I no longer tap into the given meaning of sentences except a series of scryed word scrolling that I count from the divinatory meaning given... THis was I sidestep ever picking up the outside meaning and tap into my higher self and through this was I have been given jewels of wisdom I wouldnt recieve if I read the meaning and interpreted the interpreted meaning of the said author of the book.....It is a process that has enabled me to tap into faery....through a guide who represents Faery ... called Faeryspeake... Its very complicated but I have given at least 1,000 readings and all have proved accurate.....It all has to do with synchronicity....IT is sacred and what I call intuitive gazing.........SO if youare interested let me know and I will send an invite... “Ron, how are you?” This was written on the bedroom wall in balloon type letters and the rest followed as a scroll from no where. “We would like to make sure that you are okay since Cassandra was not here yesterday. Did Simon and Isabella do a good job? And I in turn answered telepathically, yes. “Good, there will be someone else here today and I am not sure who it will be yet but we let you know. Thank you for the nice lemon cake and strawberries too! Take care and we love you Marie and the Plimtens. Isabella has long been Karen’s guide now and Simon is one of the males who has braved the association with me.

I was sleeping in this morning and giving the wrinkles around my eyes the opportunity to recuperate. A distant Shadow near the bathroom quickly morphed into my watchful Faery Guardian this morning as Marie is taking her turn to be with me today. "Good Morning Ron, I know you are able to hear me in your mind very well so I will not be using the vibrations like the others do with you today. I hope that you do mind that I am taking a turn to be with you. I usually just see you at night and wanted the opportunity to get to know you better. Is this okay?" Of course Marie, I welcome you into my home. "Thank You, Ron, we will have a good day together."

Marie is the area supervisor who answers directly to the Queen. She has become a good friend over the past year and is always willing to work with me to answer any question that may arise from our association. She can be very stern but soft as I get scolded at times for my humanness.

Loved and Cared For

I have been away from the store for the most part of six weeks due to a much needed back surgery that I finally had completed after eight years. I was in the hospital for nine days as it turned out to be two surgeries within that same time span. All the while I was in the hospital the Faeries stayed near but it appeared as if there was far too much electronics for them. It did not stop them from coming to be with me every day or standing sentry nightly it merely slowed the stream of numbers.

It was interesting to talk with those who worked in the surgical ward about my belief system with the Faeries and to watch the reactions to my proclamation that the Faeries are quite real. There was everything from, “you are truly blessed” to “make sure you hit that morphine button if you have not had enough”. In retrospect, when the Faeries want you to know they are here, eventually they will let you know themselves.

I feel the healing process has been and continues to be expedited somewhat by their presence. I wake from the shortest of naps and I can tell by my stellar hair styles that they watch over me as I sleep. The snack tables are fuller these days as whatever I have for nourishment they also have. They eat far many more sweets than I do, especially chocolate, since the elves are holding steadfast to their rightful place at my side at this my time of need.

I have not regained my sleep patterns yet and though they have been broken with nightly Faery visitations for the past six years they have become weirder. We go to bed around 10:00-11:00 pm and I am back up at 3:00 am because of the pain. The Faeries and I go downstairs as not to disturb Karen as much as possible so we stealthily make it to the cartoon channel or Toon Disney. They allow me to watch bits and pieces of the morning news but are quick to remind me that I should go back to bed if I continue to snooze in front of their television.

This is my first day in front of the computer, a few emails withstanding. I will continue to keep you up on the going-on with the Faeries and I invite you in turn to ask questions and to share any stories you may have with me. Faery Blessings to each and everyone!

Shamanic Journeying with the fairies

I just read Sandra Ingerman's book "Shamanic Journeying - A beginner's Guide" which is a very short book (85 pages) and a good introduction. For those of you who don't know, she is a major figure in Core Shamanism, best known for her work on soul retrieval. Usually people I meet who are trained in Core Shamanism never talk about fairies. Twice Sandra mentioned elves and fairies. She suggests doing a middle world journey "to meet the fairies, devas, and elves in the Middle World." Later in the book she writes, "Trees and beings like elves and fairies can also be helpful spirits. Since the spirits of trees and beings like elves are not animals, we call them guardian spirits instead (of helping spirits)".

Who here has either intentionally done a shamanic journey to meet the fairies, and or come across fairies in their shamanic journeys? Were they all in the middle world?

I have never just come across fairies on journeys, the way I have when walking in the woods.

4:18 am The treat for tonight was the white cake with sprinkles Cassandra had chosen the other day. A diminutive Winged Faery came to me and by a motion of her right had asked that I follow her to a location on the back of the headboard. “Ron, we know you and Cassandra want to be together more but we are starting to let some other Faeries stay with you in the daytime. This will give them the opportunity to see what is like working inside you. Please don’t get angry at me for this decision. We will work with them so they will be able to communicate with you like Cassandra does. Most of the communication will be through thought but some of course will be with vibrations. Is this okay with you, Yes Marie, we understand the need for this training and it is okay with me. That’s fine Ron, thank you and I will be helping out the next few days if you need anything ask me. Love Marie and the Gnomes

Marie was true to her word this morning as I woke to admire the devilish curls on the back of my hair I realized that I had a different helper. Sylvia was named to assist Karen and they will be leaving in a few minutes for Folsom. I in turn, have met Melissa who starting today will be with me and Marie to learn the ropes of this human communiqué thing. I look forward to the time we will have together and I am positive she does also. We started off with our coffee with two sugars but in place of vanilla flavored creamer Melissa asked for hazelnut. It will be an interesting day and I welcome my new guests.

4:35 am roared awake by a mighty lion, his, mane tufted in the wind as he stalked up the headboard to this note. “Ron, good morning we loved the pie and thank you and Karen very much, you are nice to think of lemon pie and of course the banana crème also. We want you to know that everything will be okay with the book. Do not worry so much about the publisher. People will find the book once it is in print and we will be ready to work with them. We would like to stay with you today but we have pressing issues in Faery. Cassandra will be back to stay with you again during the daytime. I do not think Melissa is going to work out because she is too shy. If you want, we can try another male but you and Cassandra are in truth, good friends and we honor this as well. It would not be Peter because he is still upset with you. Please go back to bed and get some more rest, and again it will be all right. We will make sure the book gets taken care of after it publishes. Thank you again, Marie and Plimtens and Cassandra, we love you and good night.” I was ready to participate in an apprentice program but apparently it takes more grit to put up with humans than one might expect. Caretaking a human is not for the faint of heart, on with life, maybe we can do something fun now that the book is about ready.

6:55 am the light of mornings sun shined through the plantation shutters and the lamp on the nightstand cast a broad Shadow. Above this Shadow a male Faery fluttered down and stopped on the edge between light and dark. He continued to flutter, hovering until from the shadows flew a helicopter and dangling from the ropes at the bottom of the chopper was a freight box that remained tied as he took off for parts unknown.

I turned no the opposite side and from the Shadows near the bathroom door a Winged Faery took flight from the show into the openness of the white wall. Behind her there was another and another and yet another until ten winged beauties had flown from the bedroom. Karen’s Faery Do was a thing of beauty this morning as her new perm turned into giant curls. My hair was styled also but I had horns and the front was pulled down to hide that my forehead is large and shiny.

A morning with the Faeries

2:34 am a twelve inch tall Santa Claus arrived to tell me that he was preparing for a pre Christmas run. He went to the nearest wall and with the most methodical movement stuffed bags of toys in a sleigh until no more sacks would fit. He waddled to the front of his vehicle and one by one hitched the reindeer in harnesses adorned with garland and silver bells. He gave me one last glance then a wave of the left hand as he sat in the driver's seat holding the reigns. Up he went and as he passed overhead, I heard the bells of Christmas morning as they pinged out jingle bells. A kin to the darkness of night he was soon gone leaving a calm stillness in the room.

4:27 am she worked her way along the dark wicker headboard, passing Karen's new perm that imitated the remnants of a windstorm in the night. Isabella had styled Karen's hair with help from the Plimtens and now they came for me. She fluttered softly to within twelve inches of my eyes and then held in place while I drifted in peace back to sleep.

Mornings light arrived around 5:20 am and I remained with the covers pulled up around my neck all the while my eyes refused to open. Even with my eyes closed, I saw in the distance one of the girls fluttering about. Without warning, it was as if a snowstorm appeared from the heavens and drove with furry past the hovering Faery. This was an event that I recalled in a lucid dream months ago and it was occurring in the present with clarity.

I shower now waking slow with each droplet of water but in remembrance of the Faery gifts that were awarded me during the nighttime hours. I ward aloud, “watch out”, just before whipping the towel behind my neck and follow with a rustle of drying what hair I have remaining. I know now after six years of daily showers with the Faeries that they are well aware of the slippery slopes of human forgetfulness but I choose to remind them any ways.

Luna is perched atop my forehead as I finish my last cup of coffee and chase it down with Listerine, a sip and a swash about and out the door to our truck we go. She vibrates on my wrinkled forehead to remind me what a glorious day we face as we slide behind the steering wheel and buckle up for the short twenty minute jaunt across the bridge to Martinez.

Before going even a block I receive a smooch on my left cheek preceded by the puff of wind stirred by her tiny wings. I smile and wish Luna a good day knowing that the kiss was the trumpets heralding Cassandra’s arrival as my companion for the rest of the day and into the evening hours of bedtime. Cassandra greets me with her own vibration that I have come to know quite well. After acknowledging each other following her absence in the night I ask her silently for the type of treat she wishes to have for the morning hours. She responded this morning in kind with the telepathic thought of a vanilla cupcake adorned with red icing formed to resemble the face of the television’s own “Elmo”.

Enjoying the Fairies who came home with me

When Hope and I showed our film and gave a workshop at the congress this year I signed up for two Fairies to be assigned to me, not on the paper, but with a vigorous mental "yes", In fact I did it twice, once each time it was offered. It has since become clear to me that I have four fairies that are available to me any time I want to interact. I don't "see" them with my eyes, but they are often on my shoulders, just visible as a shadowy presence, and if I focus on them I "see" them in great detail, in my mind. Also they are very articulate in the language of thought forms, much like angels or ascended guides (with whom I have had more direct experience than with the Fae). They are helping me to tune into the Fairies everywhere, and they have helped me connect to the Devas that oversee their translator/symbiot jobs. The Fairies told me that any of us who are connecting with their congress companion fairies can ask to meet the appropriate Devas and help facilitate fairy companions for appropriate humans, something that I haven't done just yet, as it has to be the right humans, right place, and right time, so as not to subject the willing fairy volunteers to needless scorn (I'm used to being considered a wacko)

My Fairy friends gave me their names, but so far don't want me to speak them, even to Hope. Does Any one else have a related experience to mine that they would like to share?

Spirit of the Wild Places (part one)

We live and experience most of our lives in a very narrow band of frequency called the "world". This is what we perceive as real and our
physical senses are tuned to it. But all around us are other densities of infinite creation. Seen and heard by animals, like cats when they react to "empty" space and dogs that hear sounds higher than we can. Children, until they are conditioned also respond to unseen frequencies. *

According to Italian physicist Giuliana Conforto, 90% of the total calculated mass of the universe is "dark matter", and unobservable. While we observe 10% through the infinite rainbow which is light. How one accesses this non-observable substance requires intention, passion, allowing our intuition to guide us, shifting awareness and interacting with the aliveness of nature.

While teaching an herbal workshop at the Montana Herbalists Gathering a few years ago, I met a man, Michael "Skeeter" Pilarski, who captured my attention. He had long white hair and a flowing white beard, sparkly eyes that spoke volumes and claimed to be an emissary for the fairie world. Being a plant person, I have always had an affinity for the Devic realm, that unseen world that is absorbed in the care of nature.
This highly animated man with cackling laughter, that looked rather like a large elf himself, was teaching a class on how to access the fairie realms and their connections to the land. The workshop title was The Plant Devas. While it seemed a bit woo woo to me in the sense of, who is making this up, who really is in touch with this mysterious plane of existence, and how would one know the difference, I still went, curious to know what he knew.

What I learned is there are plant, tree, meadow, hill, valley and mountain collected energies that are conscious of their role in nature. They encourage growth, death, rebirth, and beauty and are responsible and very aware of their existence. They can also interact with humans when plugged in to their world. We were given simple tools to access this world behind the curtains.

As I was leaving the workshop that was very informative and entertaining, he singled me out of the crowd and without even having met yet, asked me if I would like to take two fairies home with me to Colorado. He said he was being instructed to do so. Without thinking I didn't hesitate to say yes. He asked me to sign a piece of paper that was full of names. There was one line left at the bottom of the page and after I signed it, I caught a glimpse of light shining through all the names on the page. As soon as I signed it, I felt a movement of energy around me like a soft breeze. I also felt this same movement of energy inside my body, a filling up of space like someone bringing furniture into the house and finding room for the new pieces. It was gentle and comfortable so I made room. It dawned on me and I quickly realized I had signed a contract, unspoken but binding.

The contents of this contract soon made itself clear, I was to be responsible for my thoughts, actions, and even my environment. I was to realize there was more than myself to consider in any given situation. The mental image I was given as a tool for access to the fairie realm and to my assigned charges was to envision a house with a family room and several bedrooms. When I wanted to contact my fairie friends, I would call them and wait in the family room for them to show up which could take a while or be immediate.

It took me a long time and a concerted effort to figure out how to communicate with them, a mental aerobic exercise of listening without constantly questioning my abilities to do so. I was determined and without any more guidance than I had been given, it was like strenuous work. After a session of trying to ask a question and getting the answer, I would be visibly glistening with sweat. Something akin to crawling through a tunnel that is a bit too tight for all the clothes you have on.

I must say they continually un-teach me all the things I thought I knew. After about a month with the two of them, I asked them their names. The wise one with a feminine grace about her is Alaria. She can anticipate my questions even before I have them solidified enough to ask but is patient with me none the less. The other one is definitely male and named Puk. He is playful and daring, always ready to try new things.

The first time I knew they were real, my cat was sick and dying. There was nothing I or the vet could do and I asked my fairie friends to keep her company on her passing. That night I went to bed, I could tell she was checking out. However the next morning, she was sitting on my bed staring at me waiting for breakfast and to be petted, as if she had been coaxed and made a decision in the night to stay a while longer.
Another time, I was speaking at the Human Fairie Relations Congress in Washington State. This annual gathering hosts 400 like minded people and 3000 fairies. My teenage daughter, Topaz called me from Colorado on my cell, which up to that point, I had no reception being at the dead end of a dirt road miles from any town on a piece of private wild land. She was crying as she just broke up with her boyfriend of two years and just wanted to ask me if I could send Alaria back home to be with her. Topaz has always had this natural gift of communication and took to the fairies immediately. I mentally called Alaria and she sweetly told me she was already on her way, getting the message before me. My daughter called me again the next morning to thank me for sending her and she was happy that she stayed and was still present with her. I got confused as I felt Alaria was right there with me also. Alaria quickly announced to me she had assigned Topaz her own fairie as this was the easiest remedy. Topaz said she knew the fairies were there because she was getting ready to make popcorn in the popper and the kitchen/dining room chimes went off. We have no breeze running through there to cause them to ring and the only way to make them ring, is to raise your arm walking through one room to next.

Another crazy time, I wanted to visit a casino and make some quick cash. Whimsically, I asked Puk to come with me and help me double my $40, he said ok. I lost it all in about 5 minutes and we left. When I questioned him, he said we needed to depart. He described the energy as "riding bareback on a wild dragonfly through a thorny thicket"! I got it.

They have since tapped me on the shoulder to show me something remarkable, including how to find the right wild plants for my medicines, how to ask questions of the plants and trees themselves about their nature. An excellent example is the Arizona Cypress that grows all around the high desert and as the drought continues to dominate the landscape, the Cypress is loosing some of its ability to fight the bark beetle. Although I felt saddened from this loss of a mighty tree, the tree tells a different story, that its place in the landscape is changing, that we can not hold on to the past and embrace the present and be grateful for what we have right now. According to one of my students, Joan Perrier that is acutely aware and connected to nature, even the fires that raged through here recently were met by exhilaration from the trees. An accepting of what is given and finding the ability to transform.

The fairie folk and plant devas still amaze me with their gifts and lessons. I¹m never sure what I am giving them except my appreciation and love. They have told me if anyone ever asks what those gifts are, I am to share them completely. Here they are:
… Trust your first impressions, they are usually the right ones. Science tells us we have more neurotransmitters running from our gut to our brain than we do from our brain to our gut. Think about gut instincts.
… Eat healthy, nuture yourself. Our immune systems need nourishment to keep the healthy barriers up in a stressful world.
… Do ceremony everyday. It shuts down the rational mind, pulls you out of the control mechanisms that run your life. You can create your own simple ceremony at home by yourself. Start there.
… Ask why you need something before you act on your desires. Intention motivates the process, be clear. The Iroquois teach us that our actions ripple through time even unto seven generations. It is explained to me that thoughts and beliefs create the world we live in.
… Create full moon paper. When the full moon comes, set a piece of blank paper outside under the moon to get charged. I usually set mine out on my deck and put a crystal on top of it so it doesn¹t blow away. In the morning, put it away until the new moon comes two weeks later. Then write on your paper what you want to manifest in your life. The paper is conditioned, fulfilled and complete just waiting for your words.
… Find the joy in your life and have fun. My mentors have imprinted on me that there are only two reasons to be on this planet. One is to create with consciousness, being aware and accountable of your every action. The other is to have fun doing it!

"Life can take many forms. Look at the forms life can take on this planet alone. Here in the bush, there are insects you could easily mistake for rocks or for pieces of bark ¬ until one of them stings you, that is. Life does not have to consist of bipeds who move and breathe and smoke cigars as we do. I have said it before and I say it again ¬ the universe is a gigantic chamber of possibility where everything has the chance and the right to happen, and so we must not have cut-and-dry theories regarding just how life should look. Life could surprise us!"

Building relationships with fairies

In recent years, many people have learned how to tune into angels, fairies and other spiritual beings to ask for guidance. Spiritual beings do have much to offer us, and we can benefit greatly from their input. The current environmental and earth changes have created a vital need for us to reciprocate, to give back to spiritual beings, to help them as they also deal with these changes. This is especially true of the Fairy realm, those who are closely connected to the physical planet and its well being.

There are many things that we can do for the fairies, both energetically and physically. One of the most powerful and simple things we can do is to give them offerings. The traditional offering gift is one of food, such as bread or cake, or fermented beverage, such as wine or beer. The idea is to give them something from nature that has been transformed by human energy, so that we are giving them something of ourselves. A gift of wine can be poured directly into the ground, one of food may be left out for the fairies to partake of its essence. Since the fairies do not consume the physical part, you should return later to remove the remains.
If you are leaving an offering in a wild area and aren’t able to return later, it is good to leave healthy, organic food that won’t be harmful to birds or other small creatures.

Some people make special cakes just for the fairies. You can also give them a portion of something you make for yourself, like a slice off of a loaf of bread, or one cookie out of a batch. Traditionally you are supposed to give to the fairies before you partake of it yourself, I have found the fairies where I live aren’t too picky about that - if I’m hungry and happen to eat one first before I go out to offer one, they still appreciate it! Factory-made foods don’t have as much vital energy, and generally don’t make very good offerings.

Different cultures do have different traditions regarding offerings. In the Native American tradition, tobacco and cornmeal are often used. In my experience, these are appropriate if you have a personal connection with that culture, or if the spirits in question specifically ask for them.
Listen to your own intuition for what feels right.

Fairies also enjoy spontaneous natural art as an offering, like creating a small sculpture out of twigs, lichen, small rocks, pine cones, any natural material that may be found on site. Remember that fairies like color, so incorporate rocks or leaves of different colors to make it beautiful. In general, cut flowers are NOT an appropriate offering, as they are nature’s creation and not ours to offer. Dried flowers can be appreciated however, especially in winter when there isn’t much other color around. A favorite offering of the fairies where I live is a circle of dried flowers on snow, with a stick of incense in the middle. I use a mixture of lavender, rose petals, and calendula or marigold for a nice color palette. Another idea, if you have a yard or live in a natural area, is to light a candle in the window at night, offering the light to the fairies.

You can also go into nature and offer a song especially for the fairies.
They like flute and melodic instruments, as well as voices singing in harmony. Crystal bowls, chimes, harp, bells . . . use your imagination. But it should be live music and not electronic. Playing heavy metal on a boom box isn’t appropriate!

Offerings can also be energetic rather than physical. A very basic one is to find a place in nature, take time to notice and observe the beauty around you using all of your senses, then focus on sending out waves of gratitude and appreciation. Speak to the fairies (you can do it silently if there are other people around!), and let the energy flow from your heart. One of my favorite offerings is to go sledding in winter, and as I am sliding down the hill I send out all my energy of fun, joy and happiness to the fairies. They love that one!

An important element when giving offerings and building relationships with fairies is to be consistent. Making repeated offerings through time, especially at the same place, works very strongly to build potency in your relationship. Just like with human friends - if you meet someone once, they are an acquaintance, it takes time and repeated meetings to become friends. Frequent, small offerings are more important than large, fancy
occasional offerings. These offerings support and nourish the fairies,
strengthening their presence and making it easier for them to withstand and transmute some of the negative environmental impacts they have to deal with. In this way we are re-establishing the alliance that once existed between humans and fairies.

The One Family Gathering will be a three day unity gathering near Christmas Valley, Oregon. The festival intends to unify a variety of cultures from many other peaceful gatherings. It will manifest as a weekend long event encompassing barter fairs, music festivals, parties, and reggae shows, surrounded by a free camping area.

This event has a focus slightly different from other festivals. We will provide a large, secure vendor section inside the event in addition to hosting two stages: a "party" tent with nonstop djs, hosted by DJ4NORML and the main "Quetzalcoatl" stage. working with the weather

We have a monthly shamanic group here in Seattle, and at our last circle I did a journey and the question I asked was "what is it would be beneficial for us in our shamanic circle to learn in 2008?" I went immediately up to the upper world where I was placed in front of an advisory committee.
They shot off a list.
Number 1 on the list was about the Weather. The message i got was there is going to be erratic weather patterns in 2008. As earth stewards you are going to learn to work with the weather to protect your food sources, your plants and animals.
I've worked with intentionally with weather with perelandra methods and by feeling/being sunshine and sending that out into the universe. and that's about it. I would love to hear about your experiences, and I'll keep you all posted.

so, my question is, "how do we as Earth Stewards work with irratic weather patterns.

Improper "Big Pharma" Influence in Medicine is VERIFIED!

This is a BIG step in the right direction for health care in the USA! It has been no secret, but no one was talking about it since the monetary benefits that many doctors are receiving from these companies made this unlikely. I mean - if you were the type to only care about money (which is why many become doctors in the first place), wouldn't you want a free trip to Cancun by putting other people on basically unproven and even harmful chemical substances?

Catherine D. De Angelis, MD, MPH and Phil B. Fontanarosa, MD, MBA have submitted this timely (and likely unwelcome) article into the April 16, 2008 edition of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), entitled "Impugning the Integrity of Medical Science - the Adverse Effects of Industry Influence."

What is even more awesome is that this was broadcast on the same day on the morning edition of Talk Radio's "Paul Harvey" show, so this information has come to the attention of many Americans today!

I am happy to see that some doctors do in fact have some integrity. This may also be an opening for safer alternative methods to be approved by the AMA for doctors to use and not feel like they will have their medical licensing taken away if they recommend a proven herbal remedy (as an example) instead of the new designer drugs of the day. I hope this allows them the courage to step forward now that the door has been opened!

We can help by showing this to our medical providers (if you have those) this article, and telling them about this, they can maybe take additional steps as doctors to become more able to practice alternative and natural techniques without risking their careers. Also, tell your friends in any way you can, so that they can demand alternative therapies be implemented or they will go elsewhere now that this article ought to free up other practitioners to use these methods. This also provides some validation for Alternative practitioners who have known about these dangers all along. Health care freedom (and responsibility) is up to all of us - please spread the message!

Where Do the Fairies Go?

What happens to the nature spirits when land is cleared or developed?
Where do the devas, fairies, nature spirits, elementals go? Can we make
this process easier for them? How can we build our homes and develop
properties with greater reverence and harmony towards Nature and the
spirits that infuse the land?

It doesn’t matter what you call them the shining ones, fairies, devas,
nature spirits, elementals, gnomes, elves, Tinkerbell, or sprites.
Their energies flow through nature and the landscape, places, flowers,
plants, trees, land, soil, and elements. They give life to everything!
Without these beings, there would be no nature, no earth. They are
responsible for the growth and patterning of nature. Fairies are the
true developers of the land. When we act blindly, we disregard the
harmony within nature, ourselves, and the earth we inhabit.

I drive by land that is being cleared for buildings and feel a sense of
loss. Not so much because some one is creating a new home or building,
but because it feels like there is little regard for the other forms of
life that have lived in harmony in this place for many, many years.
Often the lot is completely cleared of everything to create a clean
slate. What has actually happened is a complete community of nature
beings has been displaced. Some of these nature spirits pull in
discordant emotional energies from negative human interactions and
become discordant themselves creating uneasy vortexes of energy in the
landscape. This can disrupt human activities and create distressing
vibes or feelings of uneasiness in a place.

There is a stream bank that I drive by in Hood River that was cleared
for construction. My gut felt uneasy every time I drove by. I could
sense the nature beings and land were screaming out NO! We do not
want you to build here! They went ahead and built office buildings
right next to the stream bank. Within a few weeks of opening the
building, a water main broke and flooded the building. The building had
to be closed, and emptied, and the offices re-located for six months
because of a serious mold problem. More recently, the building was
temporarily closed due to sprinkler system issues.

How can we avoid this? My friend Tomhas Twintrees, a builder of homes
aligned with sacred geometry and author of House As Teacher: Building
the Future, Now told me he tells home builders to sleep on the land for
a week or so before proceeding with any building plans. It helps to
slow down, l. Listen to the land, the beings, feel the flow. Dream . Be
very flexible in every moment of the building process. Shift and change
as needed. Find where your home wants to be, not where you want your
home to be.

Astrologer and essence maker Mark McNutt made an essence of the land,
flowers, plants, and energies exactly where his new house was to be
situated. As he told me this, I could sense the power of this beautiful
act of reverence. He had captured the beauty of place and honored the
work of the devas. He had communicated his intention to create a home
in this place, but preserved the specific energies through making an
essence. This simple act of love helped him create a very special home.

It helps to consciously communicate with the nature spirits and release
your guilt about human activities. I arrived at a friend’s house as
they were cutting a few Cottonwood trees to create a better mountain
view. Pregnant and feeling very unsettled, Nancy asked me what we could
do? She loved the fairies and nature spirits but felt helpless in this
situation. Before her husband cut the trees, we created a circle and
said a few prayers of thanks to the fairies and devas for their
outstanding work. We also communicated what we were doing, that we were
cutting several trees. We offered that they could find new homes, new
jobs, or be released to their next assignment. And we sent loving
intentions for peace and happiness. The shift of energy was palatable.
We could feel the strong divine presence of fairies and nature beings
in a state of gratitude and peace. The trees were cut. We then
collected the Ccottonwood buds and I made an infused oil for Nancy’s
growing belly. The tree gave its final medicine with gratitude, and we
received it with gratitude.

Without attention to the nature spirits and intention to create
harmony, the cleared land and nature spirits can become disrupted. Many
of the fairies that get displaced wander around in a lost state not
knowing how to move out of it. In The Dalles, we were working to
harmonize some of the riverfront lands when the nature deva of the area
appeared in a state of confusion. She looked like she was wrapped in
gauze. In communication I found her in a very weakened state. She asked
for permission and assistance to move! We were guided that this was
appropriate so I offered her this opportunity thinking she just needed
help crossing to another section of the property. She entered my
special stone and then I placed the stone in my basket. We asked her
where she wanted to go. She said to your home. So I brought her to my
home. In certain cases, assisting with re-location is the best
solution.

In 2005, a group of us re-located a large group of fairies and nature
beings with R. J. Stewart at Skalitude Retreat Center in the Northern
Cascades. Their home on the East Coast was being developed so they
needed a new home. They were carried across the country in a flute. As
the flute music played, we witnessed a beautiful outpouring of joyful
energy into the landscape. One fairy even jumped into my flute!

Human action to protect nature is very important! It is acknowledged
deeply by nature spirits. There is a huge beautiful beech tree in Hood
River that was almost cut down by builders, but citizen protest kept it
alive. It now stands proudly on the corner of Cascade and 7th near a
row of townhouse adding valuable shade, beauty, and wisdom to this
place. I was driving by one day and could hear and feel incredible
waves of love and gratitude from this tree. I pulled over and sat with
the tree. The next morning, during my meditation I was guided back to
the tree in my mind's eye.

The tree spoke:
Thank you humans for saving me. You have touched me deeply. I will
grace this corner for a long time. And remember, your neighbors include
more than just people.

Another way to learn how to work more cooperatively with nature spirits
is to attend the Fairy and Human Relations Congress (June 23-25, 2006)
in Twisp, Northern Washington Cascades). Fairies and humans gather to
commune and establish deeper connections with one another. Many
messages and energetic transmissions come through from other realms for
the humans attending including photographs of orbs and magical
merriment. There are many opportunities to learn how to re-connect with
the fairy realms and work more cooperatively with them.

Last year in Scotland, humans protected a fairy colony by calling the
developers of a new housing estate and getting the attention of the
planning department. They would come to the site and shout Don’t move
that rock. You’ll kill the fairies. Developers were forced to scrap
plans and re-design their whole estate considering the fairy housing
areas. In Iceland, President Vigdis and the Chief of Police regard the
belief and protection of fairy habitat very important for the harmony
of their country. A majority of the citizens in Iceland believe in
fairies and nature beings.

When you have an opportunity to take an action on behalf of the
shining ones don’t hesitate. They will be eternally gratefully and
grace us with their blessings. Your life and land will be enriched as
you create safe, wild places in nature. Even a small wild area on a
property adds magical, harmony and balance for everyone. Better yet,
reclaim land or places and ask the fairies and nature spirits to
return! Use your imagination to create homes and habitats for them.
Open your heart to connecting with them and be present for some magical
changes all around you.

Color Experiments with Leprechauns

I saw a leprechaun in the most pure green, magical place. Green was everywhere and it feel good. The leprechaun led me on a path. We walked by amazing sea/plant looking creatures of all different pastel hues—pinks, cream, coral colors. I felt like I was floating instead of walking though. “You’re trying too hard,” said the leprechaun. “OK,” I tried harder to not try so hard. “Take it easy, relax.” I did and landed on the ground. We walked further to meet the other leprechauns. They were happy to have a human to conduct some experiments with color and the emotional body’s response to the different colors. So they showed me lots of beautiful, colorful things. These weren’t ordinary colors, these were colors from other realms and dimensions and seemed very exaggerated for our world. The colors were quite beautiful and used in strange and interesting ways. They observed my emotional body in my aura to find out how the different colors were affecting me emotionally. I could sense and feel some of the shifts in my energy system as my body danced with color.

This video is excellant and and worth listening to. Wade is also coming to Seattle to give a talk this February. If you want more details post me a question on my blog module on my tribe page.

Wade talks about the ethnosphere as being the sum of all the "thoughts and dreams, ideas and myths, institutuions and aspirations, brought about by the human imagination."

He is speaks passionately about preserving the ethnosphere especially through the indigenous languages. He sais "every language is an old-growth forest of the mind....an entire ecosystem of spiritual possiblities"

It is worth the time to listen to this free online video that runs about 15 minutes or so.

Fairy Blessings and Plant Beings

I have just been accepted to teach a workshop at the Fairy Congress 2008.
My class....Fairy Blessings and Plant Being....simple listening exercises, and learning
to connect with the fairy as you garden, cook and make herbal preparations from the plants
that grow around you. I am excited to return to the fairy congress next year.
