substitute for eggs

does anyone have a good substitute for eggs that is not that egg substitute stuff?

    flax seeds are a great substitute, in any kind of baked goods, or as a binder, my mom has a great vegan pecan pie recipe using flax

    you can use whole or ground, I think its about a 1/4 cup per egg to be replaced.

    if using whole seeds mix flax seeds with warm water, about half and half,and let sit in a warm place for 15 min, untill is becomes gooey

    if using ground just mix to a paste let sit for a min. and use

    oh the whole seeds stay whole, and can be an unplesent texture in some applications, I prefer ground.
