My own projects - I am working on a Bellydance Rhythms program - it's almost like a workout in the sense that it flows non-stop, but it is set to popular bellydance drum rhythms, and will be recorded to live drumming by Raquy Danziger of Raquy and The Cavemen, NYC.
Raquy has designed all the riffs and rhythms progressions for this project. We've been working on it since the fall, but I failed to deliver the choreographic work on time, so the project was postponed, and now I need to get my act together and deliver it! Deadline is June. It will be of special interest to dancers who love drum solos and would like to enrich their vocabulary of moves for each of the most popular bellydance rhythms (like baladi, saiidi, masmoudi, etc.). The program will flow uninterrupted by instructional sections - it's all about repetition, creating the muscle memory and just enjoying the experience of dancing to a drum. We'll have a separate tutorial that will break down the moves. Level: beginner-intermediate.
