I received the following question from a customer and I was wondering if anyone can give an answer?
"I do have a rather "delicate" question though, about the fabric. I love the look of these pants with tassles, and would like to wear with out a hip sash, but I tend to sweat alot, and wonder if this fabric shows dampness?
thank you in advance."
I don't have personal experience with this and I haven't heard this mentioned before by other customers, so I'm wondering if any of you lovelies know the answer?
Thank you so much!
Having a WONDERFUL vacation with my sweet hubby!! I watched TV ALL DAY yesterday, woohoo!!
love, donna

Re: Delicate Customer Question
Thu, March 13, 2008 - 6:01 AMIn terms of sweat marks showing, I have not had a problem with my black flair pants. I think black, or another dark dark color, would not show sweat marks. It's not been an issue with my black pair at all. I've only worn my white pair a couple of times, so I'm not sure about that one, and likewise with the green pair, so I can't really say about those. But I think this person would do well with a black or other dark pair - the fabric is great, and is not so thick that sweat would not get to evaporate as well!
And I'm so glad you're having a good time, Donna! I hope you and your hubbler will get to kick back and relax even more.

Re: Delicate Customer Question
Thu, March 13, 2008 - 8:35 PMI've gotten a few dark sweat spots on mine.(mine are black) But, I'd been dancing for several long sets in a very hot room. (Think Bikram Yoga Hot).
We're talking this was a really heavy workout kind of sport sweat.. There wasn't a dry place on me and it was just rolling off my face.
It was like a bad soda/mint gum commercial.
While yeah it did show, if I tossed on a dry hip wrap... You wouldn't know.
I would let her know that it has to be a very perfuse sweat before it shows and that having a dry clean hip wrap to change to once you do start sweating like that.. Would be a very good thing.
The lighter colors will show and may get that yellowish sweat stain without a dash of white vinegar or oxy clean in the wash.
The great part about the pants.... is that it did help wick away some of my sweat and dried pretty quickly.

Thu, March 13, 2008 - 8:43 PMDonna I'm glad you're having so much fun!! Enjoy it!
As for the client question, I wear my black flairs in class and rehearsal all the time without a scarf on, and i've never had a wingle worry, even when working really hard.
BB!

Re: Delicate Customer Question
Tue, March 25, 2008 - 12:28 PMI'm a sweaty betty too...
I have the magenta pants and the gray ones and when the studio is especially hot or we work hard enough to really sweat, I have noticed that you can see wetness.
You could purchase a short hip skirt (like the stretchy cotton ones at Desert Dancer) and wear that low enough so that the tassels can hang over the top.
