Yay, Desert Dancer Imports!

I gotta tell y'all, I went to DDI first because the price point was within my range. My Mom got me my first pair (Reds) for Yule two years ago, and I was loved them! Strangely enough, though, I wasn't hooked until something went wrong! lol Yep, the bootie seam started pulling apart. I contacted Donna and after sending them to her, she made a brand new pair! She was so nice, fair and fast that I knew I wanted to work with this chick again and soon! Not long after that, Alchemy ordered three pairs of pants from her. Flairs bliss! Since then, as individual members, we've all ordered alot of pants from her, and we've always been very happy. I've even gotten two pairs of custom Flairs from her for an upcoming duet by me and Mari, so I have DDIs that NO ONE else in the world has! And Donna did SUCH a great job, working with material I sent her and making the most beautiful pants. I adore them! Recently, I got two pairs of the striped, open-sided harem pants from other dancer in the area who is moving, and the main reason I bought them is because they are from DDI! lol Brand-loyalty, huh?

I've also been lucky to get to know Donna on a personal level a bit through tribe and corresponding with her. She's busy, talented, loving, incredibly intelligent, kind and has the kind of integrity you just dont' see anymore. That's the real reason I'm a fan of DDI, because Donna is such a great person.

Ok, so 'fess up, what do you have from her and what keeps you soming back?

BB!

I got to meet Donna at TF07 and thought she was the bomb! Not only does she have beautiful stuff at reasonable prices, she was instrumental in keeping the Tribal Bible available at a decent price. I bought one of her beautiful fringe belts, the kind with the two toned dyed fringe and I love it. I always get compliments on it. I do want to get some of her pants, but I am still recovering from spending lots of money in Sebastapol.

I have never gotten the chance to meet Donna, but I love popping by her website and checking out her goodies. I have pants and cholis and those lovely skirts that she does - had to have TWO of them :)

It's great a tribe was made in her honor :)

          Thanks!

And if you peek into my profile, you'll see the other skirt I have from her - I call it the "Jimmy Buffett" skirt with a matching choli that she also made :)

              Donna, you DESERVE IT!

Also, we know you're busy, so don't kill yourself trying to keep up on here too much. We'd love to hear from you when you get a chance; I know I'd like to know more about the company, where it's been and where it's headed.

              BB and much love!

I'm new in the tribal community and my 1st pair of flair pants were from Donna. I just love them! They fit really nice...and since I love her stuff so much I went back and got an over skirt and a mini panel skirt... Everybody in my fusion class love them!

So thank you Donna for such a wonderful job!

My first pair of flairs was from Donna. They are the bomb, and I have soooooo much trouble with the length. The 36 long is perfect for my 5'91/2 height. I have a red pair, black pair and hoping for more in the future. Oh also, I forgot to mention that I wanted fringe one the side when I odered. She was easy enough to get in touch with and she fixed me right up!!!!! Thanks Donna. Love your name too. he, he....

I have the length problem too....but i'm short only 5'1. And when i saw her pants I almost flip out. Finally pants that I don't have to alter!!!!
Thank you Donna for thinking of us, the ones that come in petite size!!!!! ;-)

I won't repeat everything that has already been said, but I will add, Donna you are amazing and you just rock!

So far I've ordered two pairs of flairs from her. I love the way they fit (they actually hug my skinny legs) and she has long lengths for us tall girls. AND she keeps great communication with her clients. I always get an email when my pants are shipped out. I love that!

I think I'll add my story as well.

My first pair of flares was, as well, from Donna. Wow, such a nice lady. Also, my orders get here fast and I like that aspect.
I *as of now* have three pairs of flares: 1 red, 1 black, and 1 blue *custome stretch velvet*. Love them all! As well, I have a pair of sparkly blue poofy harem pants! YES! I love them too! I haven't had a chance to perform in my poofies but when I do I'll be sure to post a pic in the lovely creations!

I've only known Donna via e-mail and the website (and one confused (on my part) telephone call), and she has been nothing but sweet, prompt, open, and I have gotten some lovely and hard-wearing things from her! She takes care of her dancers. :)
