I just realized that we haven't promoted our show here! Hello! Here is what I sent out to my homies:

I hope all is well! Just thought I'd send a li'l note about our production that is coming up this weekend and next. You may have attended or heard about our Devotion show last year. This year will prove to be just as thoughtful, intense, joyful, and oh yes, entertaining! :D

Our theme this year is Weaving the Fabric. Which, as an act in itself, is a meditation and encourages storytelling. We have a wonderful cast, including our student troupe, RedLotus, our sister troupe, Devyani from Alabama, Colleena Shakti, Teresa Tomb, and maybe a surprise or two!? ;}

We'll also have several items for sale at the show to commemorate the experience. I have woven with my own two hands, little colorful squares with a small goddess charm on each. Limited quantity! Plus, we'll have FCBD Devotion wine for sale, not to mention FCBD Dagoba chocolate! All sales go toward funding the show!

Please join us for an intimate experience with FatChanceBellyDance at the Climate Theater, Fridays & Saturdays, June 12 & 13, 19 & 20 - there is also a gala reception this Friday and matinee shows on the Saturdays. And check out the workshops you can take from our participating artists next week! Surely, not to be missed!
