About Faten: Faten Salama has been dancing since she was 11 years old when she was selected to attend the National Folk Troupe of Egypt Dance School. She later became a member and choreographer of the Egyptian National Folk Troupe and enjoyed years of traveling and performing with the group worldwide. Now, Faten teaches workshops globally, in addition to her regular classes in the Washington DC area.
