Hi there, my name's Louise, and i'm a great fan of the Irish comedy Father Ted, hense why i'm here ;)

One of my favorite episodes is the one where Father Jack gets that horrible illness and has to go and stay with the "Nuunnnnn'S!"
My cousin who lives back home in the republic told me that at one point, the clergy tried to have it banned, i guess some of the characters must have be abit close for comfort ;)

I also liked the one with the Bishop who got kicked up the arse, and the one where Father Ted was acused of being racist towards the chinese community.
What are your favorite episodes?

Father Ted on American Idol?

Okay, I hate to admit that I even watch such junk food TV - but does anyone else watch American Idol? One of the new, very annoying, contestants looks like a Father Ted clone - which kind of mirrors the Eurovision episode.

Converting A Friend

I'm trying to decide which episode of Father Ted is the funniest, so that I may be able to convert a friend. The first episode *I* ever saw was "A Song for Europe" and thought it was hysterically funny, but I thought I'd ask you guys to weigh in with your favorite episodes.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember which one had Father Ted reading Tekwar...

Hello New People

Well, we're a small bunch but it's great fun to have you here.

So, does anyone have a Favorite Father Ted moment to share? Help to get a giggle going during a boring workday.

My particular moment, when Jack goes to get his new glasses and the optometrist puts up an eye chart from Slovakia's Premier Lens manufacturer, Feckarse Industries.

And for some reason, I am always tickled when one of the priests in "Going to America" is introduced as Father Brian Eno. (of course it's really him) Utterly surreal...
